When I go to stream overwatch using Streamlabs OBS I get a weird input bug. Usually, this only occurs once to twice in a 2-hour stream. While playing I will randomly experience a freeze where I am unable to put any inputs (mouse or keyboard) and I will be stuck with whatever the last input I was pressing at the time of the glitch. For example, if I was pressing w when the game glitches I will be stuck walking forward and will not stop or be able to put any other inputs in or if I was pressing left mouse I will be stuck doing primary fire. The glitch only lasts for about 10-30 seconds and then I am able to move and play normally as if nothing happened. After the game glitches I can usually enjoy about 30 or more minutes without any more issues. It is almost as if all my wired devices stop working with the game for 30 seconds (keyboard, mouse, microphone) I am still able to hear and see everything that is happening but I am just unable to play. This also causes my camera to break on stream. I have LED keyboard and mouse and during the glitch, the lights go out. It is almost like my computer just stops receiving communication from these devices as if they are no longer plugged in. This is the only game it happens in and it happens more commonly when playing competitive. This has been happening for over a year now and I barely stream Overwatch anymore because I just have no idea how to fix this. Any ideas?
The software controlling those peripherals is probably experiencing a crash in the background. Sometimes it’s due to a conflict with OBS or their overlays, hard to say for certain without any diagnostic files being provided.
Where can I look on my computer to check the diagnostic files for that? I’m not the most techy person in the world so if you could tell me so I can get there to provide that information that would be amazing. If it helps both the keyboard and mouse are Razer products, the camera is a Logitech, and my mic is a Yeti Blue. The headset is also Razer but that is the one thing that doesn’t break on me during these glitches. The headset, keyboard and mouse are all using the same background program in Razer Synapse as for the Yeti and the Logitech I’m not 100% sure what they run on.
Synapse is probably crashing, it’s a common problem I’ve seen in the forum.
