That’s not much better.
Had a Winston spam it every time he took a point of damage. Told him over comms that I wasn’t going to keep looking at him the more he spammed it.
He still tried spamming it for a whole 'nother round. Pretty sure he stopped spamming it in the last round because I never heard his commands.
If you’re standing behind them and expecting them to take care of you that’s half of the issue.
To be fair Widows are usually behind healers and they should hit that heal me button, if they’re not in voice chat.
I understand some.
But if Im fighting for my life on the payload as Roadhog, my E is barely keeping me alive and i ask for heals all the time while Moira wants to 1v1 that Dva and Mercy is pocketing her pharah at full HP, I might get a little bit angry.
Look, im not a tank main, my most played heroes are Hanzo and McCree, followed by widowmaker, all around 50 hrs or something and mayben then comes Dva or something, but if I, as the only tank on the team, stay on the payload at all costs because we need to deliver it or stop it from being delivered, I might expect some healing from the healers. Its all fine and dandy that that lvl 20 Mercy wants to pocket her lvl 300 Pharah mate, thats understandable, but maybe, just maybe, look around you every once in a while and heal some damage.

As a healer, its part of your duty to look in the upper right corner of your screen, it shows you what hero is talking right now.
It does help, since nobody seems so consider the “I need healing” option as even remotely valid anymore. Its not a voice line, stop acting like its one.
Like i said, its in the upper right corner.
Thats actually quite accurate. If I go in the voice comms to ask for heal since the healers are ignoring me/ busy healing someone else, the callout isnt
“Moira I need healing”

“Moira, Genji healing behind you”
or
“Moira, McCree healing left side”
with stuff like that you say who needs healing, where he is and you speak directly to a healer, so this whole “I thought you would heal him” - “No lol I thought you would do it” thing doesnt happen.

The “I need healing” feature is nowadays more treated like a voice line, not like a feature.
They should be able to use the voice comms and say who they are, where they are and that they need healing/shield/armor.

I’m doing it because I think it’s moderately funny.
And I am ignoring you because it is hilarious.

The whole “I need healing” spamming is rather pointless. Yes I see your healthbar, as well as the 5 other health bars of my team. I use glasses but I’m not blind. You’ll get your healing regardless of how much you spam “I need healing”, sorry if it doesn’t go as fast as you’d like but you’re not the only player I’m looking after. And especially if I’m the only healer.
I would love if healers could get a “I need help” instead of the “I need healing” button, so that when the inevitable flanker comes rushing in, the “I need healing” spammers can get a barrage of “I need help” in return.

Yeah. For some reason “Well, I’m DEAD so no healing for you” is not a valid excuse to these people.

Yeah lets advocate for a change of that feature. “I need help” instead of “I need healing” makes a ton of sense for me. Includes everything, healing, shield, peel, everything.

Being dead isn’t an excuse to slack on healing, Genji needs that healing regardless, if you’re dead it’s not his problem, he still needs that healing.

Although I am at fault for this too, I often tell Ana to rezz me or Hanzo to heal me. But its only when I play with my mate.
