You have to stop assuming that blizzard is going to do what makes sense.
It makes sense that they would have a CC meeting that hypes up the community right before the winter break…if they planned on announcing something right after the break.
But blizzard doesn’t really do things that make sense anymore.
So instead they had a “secret meeting” where every content creator got on Twitter to announce that there was some JUICY info, just to not communicate for a few more months.
That doesn’t make any sense, so obviously that is what blizzard is doing.

We’ll get news eventually….we know OWL is going to be playing OW2 in like 3 months time…we should start seeing stuff in near future

yea i think we can all be disappointed if that doesnt work out. have to wait and see but lol if something goes wrong with the owl ow2 beta thing and it gets cancelled then dark days ahead. i still wonder if the CC meeting was about giving CC’s drops to viewers similar to what launch valorant did

Aren’t they still having personnel problems? I don’t think the ongoing labor dispute has been resolved. Probably slowing things down.
I feel this as well. But what has me question it all is precedent.
Last time they revealed news it was only 2 reworks and we KNOW way more than 2 heroes are getting reworked on top of this, so where is the news?
We know there’s a doom rework, a cassidy rework, moira rework, sigma and orisa rework. That’s already 5 and at 2 per month (not including anything else we know, it’s interestingly close to the OWL
hmm… the labour dispute makes me wonder if there are any work co-op studios out there… that would be cool for like a indie studio…
then the workers would hire and fire the CEO hehe…
All the benefits of communism but none of the draw backs and it can co-exist with capitalism and compete…
a democratized workplace like that would never have had those problems to begin with or at least its very unlikely.
Also fans would be more willing to support a business like that given that the money would actually go to the people directly working on the games… and it would be more responsive to gamer needs i think…
It’s upsetting, it is even more upsetting that if they plan to announce things next month in Feb, there is literally no schedule for it yet or maybe ever and they’re just gonna expect people to show up last minute to get the info if they will still even do this. They said no Blizzcon back in late Oct, no update since then and in that same post, they said they’d still be making announcements but… no schedule??? Like we need info for the info we can’t even get this much.

Tough one, but i feel its safer to bet for OW 2 even if that takes a decade
