I wouldn’t say that the game is dead just yet
If they release it on MacOS then it will be huge

Ah, the game that decided it’s more important to counterpick your opponent rather than outplay your opponent…

I wonder what went wrong…

inorder for the game to not die, they need to get rid of their hitscan bias like 5 years ago

funny thing about blizzard games is that no the competition didnt put them out of business… they themselves did. the way overwatch is going its slowly drawing that knife across its own throat. will it finally cut it?

we shall see

2 of the 3 top DPS in the game: Echo and Hanzo are not hitscan do if there is a bias they are bad at showing it.

Mccree tracer and 76 are still left in their too strong state

all while tanks keep getting nerfed

when was the last time a competition put a video game business out of business though

Tanks are still far stronger than DPS and it is not close. It is so not close that it is simply just beyond debate.

Meanwhile you would nerf the 1st 4th and 6th(though Soldier might be lower) best DPS. Tracer sure, but there is no metric by which the other 2 are dominant.

you cant really think that…right?

as long as Mccree and hanzo are allowed to shred tanks, and widow and hanzo are allowed to oneshot from accross the map, dps will always be stronger than tanks

you might be right about that, didnt overwatch kill battleborn tho since it was released at the same time with overwatch? or did battleborn kill themselves

Not gonna watch 41 minutes, but seeing “Balance issues” and “Poor content and update schedules” in the “reasons for failure” list is no surprise.

The biggest thing holding back OW is Acti-Blizzard’s unwillingness to invest resources into maintaining the game. State your vision for the game then execute a regular update schedule with balance patches that build toward that vision…will you get some things wrong along the way? Sure, but if everyone knows what you’re trying to accomplish then belief in the product will return - and then you’ll at least get focused criticism from players and not just random ideas.

This willy-nilly balancing combined with insanely long periods of complete radio silence has ruined the product - not player toxicity, not OWL, not lootboxes or scandals. It’s been mismanagement via no management. State your vision.

Overwatch is dead video #858774844738395858594048958589…this one say anything new?

This guy has a long running series. It’s not like he’s an OW stream or anything. If he says its dead from a broad gaming community standpoint, it probably is.
