Still no 3-2-1, eh?

But your opponent tank won all those games

So? I didn’t have fun at all. Half our tanks rage quit.

Just pointing out that it’s irrelevant to your argument

Then whatever. The point is it was an awful game mode so it didn’t make it through.

1-3-2 is awful and solved nothing. The problem is the fan base, not the game itself in this regard.

There’s always going to be a winner, that’s a dumb argument.

You can still win and have found the match anything but fun

It solved DPS queue times.

What did? This idea or the awful mode that was 1-3-2 that died after a few days and no one played?

1-3-2. Saying that it fell off doesn’t mean it wouldn’t fix DPS queue times. Every experimental and PTR falls off at the end.
As the main mode it would fix DPS queue times.

3-2-1 would require a massive rebalance of the roster, when the game balance is already all over the place.
They didn’t buff tanks nearly enough, and didn’t even touch the DPS, which seriously needed to be toned down for it to work.

Not only tank mains, most support mains hated 1-3-2.
It’s very likely you’ll get a support exodus in addition to a tank exodus and then the game is practically dead. 6DPS will be the next step

Lets put even more pressure on the tank role, YAY, Cause thatll make people want to play them more!

If you cant tell, im being sarcastic

They already do that now, so might as well balance the game so that the tanks feel good.

Oh really?

Balance is currently the best it’s been in a long time, with no absurdly OP hero, and new balance patches every week or 2.

Tanks in 3-2-1 - no backup tank to help you be aggressive, can’t turn around to help your backline without being blown up in front, can’t possibly fend off attacks from literally all sides at once. (Imagine tanking against Genji, Widow, Doom) Focus of entire enemy team, health plummets like a stone as soon as your shield is gone, no bubble/matrix/etc to buy you time to recharge or get onto the objective.

Supports - little to no peel from your tank, getting attacked by an extra dps, opening up lovely combinations like double flanker + Widow, too much damage into your tank for you to keep up with.

DPS - very little to no support resources because they are hard focusing the tank. Not a lot of space being made because the tank gets critical too fast.

A lot of these could be fixed with tank buffs and dps nerfs, but you still have the problem of no peel for supports, and you have the tanks turned into the king of the team, which means it is a huge carry role. The better tank wins.

Go play open queue and flex for your team, noone is holding you back. 3-2-1 , 1-2-3 , 0-0-6 … all possible combinations available. go try em out.

It’s called openQ

Peel for supports is a team work based skill and has little to do with how many tanks there are on your team.
And the better tank winning is something that can be fixed with balancing. It would take work, but it can be done.

There has to be balancing to truly make it work, and you have no control over the other team. You can’t judge how 1-3-2 would play in Open Queue.
