Still no 3-2-1, eh?

It’s obviously the only thing that’s going to fix queue times at this rate.
The devs know.
They’ve been told it’s what needs to be done for years before they admitted it.
I come back to the game after how long and there’s still not a single word about it.

Are they waiting for anything in particular?

it was pretty unpopular for tank mains…making tanking worse will increase queue times because people are leaving instead of playing tank

Getting rid of an entire role is a pretty big thing and I don’t see how it helps queue times that much

I mean you’re removing offtank from the game so is it really going to help that much? From what I could tell queue times weren’t much better in 321 when they ran it

I sure do wonder why an underdeveloped version of the gamemode exclusive to the playerbase off an experimental server didn’t have better queue times than Quickplay instantly :thinking::thinking::thinking::thinking::thinking:

I’m sure they gave the same consideration to 2-2-2 when they added that, right?

Most of my games in Open Queue have been 1-3-2 so maybe you should play that.

It’s almost like 2-2-2 was a bad idea and people still refuse to admit it.

The main defense was, “it’ll allow Blizzard to balance better”.

Well, how has that worked out for you?

I mean it’s a risky thing to implement if they aren’t 100% sure it’ll help, no game has good tank queues

222 wasn’t just to fix queue time, just to note i didn’t support 222 but I understand why, it was to improve the quality of games nothing to do with queue time

Because it s#cks for the tank players. Theonly thing you make making the least popular role even more unpopular is increasing q-times even more.

You a truly a clueless little boy

but there is a flow on effect of tank mains leaving or going dps which removes the benefit you are talking about, but then again someone as simple as you would never be able to consider flow on effects because of how simple you are

It’s a risky trade off. In theory and assuming everyone is fine with it, yeah 1-3-2 would DEFINITELY lower queue times for the dps players primarily.

On the other hand, as several people pointed out, there are plenty of tank players who don’t like the idea of needing to solo tank. It’s a very high pressured environment already with tank being probably the most important role on a team, and the belief is that there would be a downturn in tank players if it went through, canceling out the benefits it would bring.

On a personal note, I HATE the way 1-3-2 plays in a serious environment. Having more than 2 dps players on your team makes the game feel more like deathmatch, which is why the Hog/Zarya meta was SO bad. 2/2/2 feels right with ACTUAL tanks, it’s just a pain that it affects queue times so much…

A lot of people did not like 321. Even if it helps with queue times, if the overall player base don’t like it, it’s not going to make the game more enjoyable or anything. I would prefer they try 232 instead.

Maybe take a break, dude.

1-3-2 failed because the devs didn’t bother to make any balance changes outside of the tank category.

Losing one tank and gaining an extra DPS means healers needed healing buffs and certain DPS needed damage nerfs. They failed to do this, leading to tanking feeling very unfun.

Did you hear about ow2 and how they are suffering to balance now? Imagine with a new 3 2 1 system
