I didn’t say to remove anything, nor did I tell you to screw off. I just said it’s stupid when they make out of character things, that Hanzo emote(and this isn’t even a skin though the skin itself is criminal for being 1900 while being a base skin)from this week has gotta be one of the most absurd things I’ve seen added to this game, almost up there with some gameplay decisions the devs have made. But you guys eat it up and my game stays dead.

How could I enjoy anything when people like you keep running around claiming that 5v5 saved the game? I want the better game back, it won’t happen as long as you and the clown above keep shilling for skins of all things. That you aren’t even going to buy and if you are well I’d hope some guilt/shame is involved with every purchase then because it doesn’t even go back to the game, they already confirmed this.

And let’s remember: All this over a game where (to name but one example) we’ve had the ability to dress Reaper up as a Mariachi since day 1 of OW1.

Skins are fire but I feel like I always see the same heroes getting the love…
Yeah and I mean just look at most of the Halloween skins. Witch Mercy. Dragon Symmetra. That weird bird Genji skin. Flying Dutchman Sigma is literally just based on a pun rather than his actual character. That fish man Doomfist skin. Jiangshi Mei.
Then there’s Oni Genji. The police D.Va and Brig skins. Technically Null Sector Orisa and Bastion are quite literally out of character. Train conductor Rein. MM-Mei. Rime Sombra.

3-4 legendary skins while only being the game for 6 seasons (even less than that for Illari).
There are characters who haven’t even gotten more than 1 legendary skin in 6 seasons, even though they’ve been around since OW1.
A few things:
a) We may never see most of these themes come to light, let alone the individual skins.
b) Of the themes that do get brought into full production, it may be many seasons until we actually see them. It’s not like LW and Illari are going to get those skins 4 seasons in a row.
c) We are only seeing a few skins for each theme. There would obviously be many other heroes included.
This wouldnt be the first time they pushed the art department hard for no reason
Just look at all the Venture concept skins they forced the Art dept. to make.
They scrap TONS of art. Any visual or audio artist/musician will tell you its a sad truth.
Lot of work goes to scrap. For every 10 songs or pictures that come out, theres a hundred more that dont see the light of day

A lot of this is just assumptions based on “if’s” and “maybe’s.”
Based on what we have, there are several finished and polished sketches of these heroes being presented. Sure there might be more characters in that skin line, but these are the ones we know for a fact are already designed.
You say this, but we’ve already seen what they’ve done via Kiriko. I would not be surprised if they did.
It’s not a “might”… There undoubtedly will be. A season’s theme has more than just 3-5 skins lol.
It’s pretty damn unlikely that out of the dozens of themes they’ve shown concept art for in these surveys, we get the ones that LW and Illari have skins for 4 times in a row. And that’s ignoring the fact that we know the next two themes are Egyptian mythology and Witches, so we’re at least 2-3 seasons away from even potentially getting to see any of these skins.
If you want to chalk that down to an assumption, then fine whatever. It’s on the same level as assuming that you won’t be able to land a coin on tails fifty times in a row.
Well, at least I won’t have to worry about spending money on Bastion shop skins for the next year or two. They seem to only be interested in making shop skins for the most popular heroes now because they make the most money ofc. I mainly play Bastion 85% of the time so at least Blizzard will be saving me money in that regard.
