it kicked me out of the server mid search and doesnt let me connect back to the EU server but lets me connect to US servers

I want to hop in here and let you know that many connections for our EU and SEA customers are very sporadic at the moment. I moved a few of you in to this thread as you are in an area that is affected by the damaged under sea cables.
We are monitoring the problem and hope it is resolved soon. We do hope things are better soon for many of you. If you do not think your connection issue is related to this, I think at this point it would be best to open a tech support ticket with a Msinfo, WinMTR, and a Looking Glass.
We do want to help where we can, but right now this problem is out of our hands.

legit this has been happening since I came back to Overwatch after around 3-4 seasons. thanks blizzard.
We understand the problem is out of your hands, but could you please look into the penalties we get for playing comp with this issue? Because if we lose the connection for even a half a second, it logs out, and we get leaving penalty
I am losing lots of sr because of this issue. When I get this, either I can’t join fast enough and lose a lot of sr and get a penalty or I can join but we just lose because of their momentum.

--------------------so i have big problme. lately i can’t play overwatch cuz alway Lost connection to game server. that message show up when pressed “Play” (i use server americas but i living in asia). pls help me T___T
I play from the Middle East(Qatar). Ping went from ~100ns to 280ns. Was like this for the past 15 days or so. Just today I noticed it drop to 160ns. Not ideal, but I think something has changed.
Update: Ping is back to 100ns now
The increase ping from SEA region is unbelieveable and so random on different matches, pls fix it

Same here, me and my friends live in Malaysia and Indonesia, and our ping had gone up by 200. this is only in regular games and not practice range. bliz pls fix.

This has also happened to me. My ping is the normal in any custom games but when I got to play something like comp it goes to around 210.
same, hits 180 from singapore
I have the same problem, i usually play at 20-30ms . and now over 200ms, sometimes 300-400ms while google still at 10-20ms. random at different match.

PSE2 is the one causing the latency issue. Blizzard support staff please check. Thanks
I’m getting connected to PSE2 and LAX1 instead of PSE1. Is there a change in routes?
EDIT: I can’t help but think this has something to do with their maintenance.
Getting connected to LAX1, with180ms ping, WTF Blizzard.
I need to be connected with pse1 but i am getting connected to pse2 servers and many others…fix this issue fast. And i am getting like 300-400 ping currently
