Im using a phone…and i remember that you could send links before…is it a new update or…?

The ability to include links is a privilege granted when your trust level on the forums is high enough. Your trust level is earned by reading, writing, liking and receiving likes over a long period of time, but if you are inactive your trust level will eventually decay.

You should gain the ability to post links again as you continue to use the forum.

You can however post links from this forum, and links to YouTube.

I went on vacation during the summer for 3 weeks, the basic ability to post links disappeared, I have been active ever since, and I still cannot include links. Not really a fan of the details of the system.

It requires a lot of reading to get your trust level up. I think someone posted numbers once, and it was a really, really daunting number of posts read required. The requirements for likes given, received, and posts and topics created didn’t have such high numbers but I remember noting that it’s something you should expect to take something like a month at least.

Here’s how to get a higher trust level:

  1. Get a scissor or some objects fit for this task.

  2. Open a big mega thread like:

  1. Put the scissor so the tip is resting on the down-arrow of your keyboard.
  2. Leave the computer for 30-50 minutes.

Congratulations, you’re now level 3 and can post links and images (takes about a day for the forum to update your status).

As far as I’m aware it’s based on the last 100 days, so it’s impossible to get it sooner than 100 days after joining the forums.

Might be wrong though

Wow so I guess I’m level 3 and I didn’t even know it, sorry for any spam just wanted to try and didn’t think it would work.
