I have a feeling that they were planning to drop the dev update today, but then something happened to change that. That’s why they posted the Genji sword thing, just to give us something (which is both hilarious and disappointing)
As I said in a previous post. They just want to nerf Mercy and try to avoid any contact with the community.
The blade is for us, Mercys, to purchase and perform HaraKiri when the new nerf comes out.

But it’s a dick move to tell us literally nothing.
If there’s a delay, tell us. Nothing that can be done about that. It’ll come when it comes.
If it was never supposed to be on Thursday, tell us. We’d actually have a date to look forward to rather than chewing at the bit for something to happen.
The only thing silence does is make the devs look distant and uncaring.

It sounds like it’s a problem on the build itself so I mean, you can’t get angry at that or something.
And to be honest I feel a bit better now that I know I can stop waiting for today ^___^

If they would hire competent programmers they wouldn’t have these problems. Hire cheap workers and this is what happens.
“Bob: Jeff, JEFF!, can you tell Mark to post the dev update?”
“Jeff: He wont until the PTR is fixed”
“Bob: Why?”
“Jeff: I got no idea, he starts crying everytime i ask him to post it and he absolutely wants to do BOTH AT THE EXACT SAME TIME!”
“Bob: Why arent we firing that guy again?”
“Jeff: Don’t know, i think he’s the son of a CEO or something”
“Bob: Why don’t we send someone else to post the dev update then? People are going nuts!”
“Mark: Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah” sobs

We’re probably not gonna get the update tomorrow either because Bob couldnt shut up.
Some say in the dark of night, if you lie very still, you can hear the echos of Bob’s melancholy.
I think it has to do with something they really want us to test as soon as PTR is out… but Im down for the dev update to be released before PTR is live anyways
