Seeing Blase, Brig Stun Sombra Ult was godlike, incredible reactions, there only so much time since that start-up on Sombra Ult post-Stealth.
Brig had to be ready for it and saved Shield Bash for it.
What a play, if that EMP landed would been the match, Incredible play from Both Teams!

I think the all seeing, all powerful eyes of of the devs are currently in panic mode of how to nerf goats.

Brig keeps Sombra from being overally oppressive, which still making Sombra play even more brilliant, because Sombra can stay in stealth indefinitely.

That counter shield bash that the Boston Brig player did on Dragons Sombra was one of the most professional/skillful things I’ve seen in all of OWL.

couldn’t remember if dding just ulted while cloaked. he quite rushed it. would have been amazing if that was pulled off and secured the win.

Even if they wanted to, nerfing one of the only goats counters would just be… not in their best interest. If they do nerf her, they need to make sure goats is dead first.
I would hope she was finally getting some respect, but let’s keep it in perspective.
Goats + Sombra vs Rein/Zen goats is pretty much her ideal situation. Your team is beefy enough that they can survive 5v6 while Sombra bounces around farming EMP. There’s no 1 shot mechanics to worry about, the enemy sticks in a ball nearly 100% of the time, rarely find her damaging enough to focus her, and while she charges EMP it’s mostly just red Lucio who’s gaining Ult charge, which she can cancel. Lucio in goats doesn’t have the luxury of being able to hide and wait on EMP, he has to be in the middle of his team.

It was more of a bad play to EMP next to a shielding Brig with stun up. The same would’ve happened with a Mccree who’s looking for it. Dding needed better EMPs on the supports (specifically Boston’s Zen), but he still hard carried Shanghai in spite of that.
