You are attracting people by outright stating false facts, indicating that OW2 will cost 60$. All you did is spilling lies, essentially clickbaiting. Great job, Mr. Marketing Expert.
Regarding the topic, my estimate is that the game will cost 60$ for new customers (those without OW) and less than that for those that already own OW. Looking at it that way, I’d say the price definitely is fair. It depends how big the PvE aspect will end up of course. If it’s as much content as full blown AAA PvE games (which I doubt), let it be more pricey.
let me in on these leaks you’ve been seeing, i want more information on this game, too
this is blizzard we’re talking about
their games have been consistently been strong, and hold up for years, in some cases, decades
they’ve already said OW2 will have some form of replayability seen in Diablo, what ever that exactly means
there’s literally no history to suggest otherwise yet
yes, it can flop
but again, the history literally isn’t there to support it
OW2 will be fine, and likely worth a 60$ price tag, if that’s even true, since, again, that’s also your poor speculation, using absolutely nothing to prove it
People took it that way? I had it in the form of a question, guess they must of misinterpreted it. Then again, people tend to not understand the message I give.
I have yet to see a gaming company do something like that in a while: give a discount to those who already bought the game. If that does happen then that would be one for the history books.
Again, as I said, your question indicates that the price is confirmed to be 60$. Just because you put a questionmark at the end, you can’t just say whatever you please and not act confused when people “misinterpret it”.
Think of it as being similiar to the standard edition and legendary edition of OW.
The legendary edition costs more because it adds content in form of skins. If you already own the standard edition, you will pay much less for an upgrade to the legendary edition than someone who doesn’t own any edition yet.
The gameplay shown of the story campaign is practically what we have in the Archives missions (Uprising, Retribution, Stormrising) but with more polish and different bosses/archetypes.
I’m just hoping they allow you to have the talent system in the story mode in some way, maybe after you beat it or whatever. Like a super hard mode, perhaps.
so, out of the 2 big game modes they’re going to have that we know about, we saw story mode, one section of it, during a demo, which, in plenty of games, has linear progression because there’s only so much you can do with story
and it’s also different than what we’ve seen with archives because it’s… different?
and that means the other game mode that they said would be replayable, is not going to be good?
because you’ve seen early footage of the one line, on the one story mode?
high doubt
doesn’t mean it’ll be perfect, doesn’t mean it can’t fail, but seriously, at least have better arguments than relying on “what i saw in early footage of a subsection of content means the entirety of the release package will be bad”
what do you mean?
the hero talents should be in the story mode
during the demo, they definitely chose their characters, and saw the talent screen after
some might have been locked out or whatever, can’t fully remember, but obviously it was a demo, so, it’d be acceptable either way, but it certainly looks like talents will be in all pve modes
didn’t realize jeff said anything about this, sorry, missed it
They were enabled for the Rio mission to show them off at Blizzcon - Jeff said that the talents are planned to be for Hero Missions only, but he’s open to adding them to story Missions.
