Decent ult economy.
killing mercy before she can do it. if she is vulnerable and has a cast time during rez, it is easy to stun or kill her, like right now.

that was the problem tbh.
however the main reason it was removed was becuase the dev team realized that support gets overshadowed by mercy in general.
and because of this, they removed mass res and replaced her ult with mass healing and mass damage boosting.
which ultimately made mercy overshadow the support class even more.
Cus no other support can compete with a mass heal like that.
but ultimately what they have to do is put mass rez back on the ult.
get rid of damage boosting. and keep the current heal nerf.
And things’ll be fine imo and mercy will be balanced imo.

Yeah but it’s the overwatch devs they aren’t really that smart look at bastion they failed to rework him so now they are just ignoring him
Its easy if you can get close or have good aim as hitscan…my issue with the new ult is just the regen imo it makes any strong hit on her pointless since she could just fly away and still help her team and regen, which combined with phara is a nightmare for hitscans

So to counter 1 ult you need multiple? Sounds legit
Usually its the other way around like zen ult countering multiple ults at the same time
or aim better.
Give it a cast time then? Or is that too hard for you to deal with as well?

well you could just use visor and kill ult mercy with one ult
If the only counter to something is to kill the user that’s not balanced.

Mass Resurrect, if it were to return, would still need changes which is why some of us suggested a cast time and LoS fix. Then we can fix the issue of “no counterplay” when it did have some counterplay but whatever.

uhm yes it is. because you get SO many chances to counter it even WHILE she rezzes. right now, mercy is such an easy target during rez. just imagine she had mass rez, but with the same mechanics as right now, plus LOS check. if you cant kill a glowing mercy who stands still for 2 seconds, you deserve the stomp.
Well I’m assuming they wouldn’t fuse Valk and Mass Rez that would be rediculous

Ok but she wasn’t standing still when she had mass Rez. It was instant. The ult with the current cast time would be useless.
But like I was saying, the only counter to mass Rez was killing her. That’s not balanced
Are you blind or are you just ignoring the countless people who suggested giving mass resurrect a cast time?
