infinite tp is undeniably 100% nerf. the “better for team” isn’t really true because if you were completely devoted to being a private uber service, you’d get more value from old tp anyways because you could fit in more placements to get effective uptime (i.e. ensure tp is in a valuable place because the team moves around).
at best it just caters to the lazy people that never bothered to keep track of tp despite the entire team getting notification text when it spawns and HUD chevrons of tp entrance locations on their screen.
team tp opportunities don’t even pop up that often anyways. skip choke, spawn tp, the occasional high ground access and very rare ult combo tp. that’s the extent of “team tp’s”. that’s a very VERY small proportion of the match time compared to the opportunities sym could use it for her own engagements and disengagements.
