Should Hanzo one-shot?

I kinda miss it at times.

What, scoping?

I think it’s a disadvantage most of the time, and the balance team treat it that way.

Nice necromancy dude

He shouldnt be able to 1 shot 250hp characters (Reaper,Doomfist,Torbjorn)

I think he should be able to 1 shot all 250 HP heroes.

Hanzo without lethality would make him too susceptible to characters like Doomfist (my main).

I like the fact that when I dive Hanzo, there is a possibility that he could flick shot me and kill me or leave me very low.

I like that fact Hanzo can one-shot an ulting Reaper and save his team.

He can’t one-shot Torb because of his amount anyway but that’s a nice strength for Torb.

I like playing hanzo and doomfist and i think they go fairly even overall.

Well I disagree. Running one of those 250hp heroes against Hanzo is throwing because you need to go at close range but you are at severe disadvantage just because he is basically a better widow at that range and he needs twice less efort for double the reward.

I have no problem with hanzo as a doomfist main, its really challenging to not get shot 4head and its actually fun.

Oh and I forgot Doomfist in practice usually doesnt get 1 shot by Hanzo because he has also shields which add up, but Mei and Reaper really have no chance against him
Lets also not forget the random arrow headshots from across the map too
They should decrease base damage from 125 to 120 this way he doesn’t instantly kill these characters because right now he’s a widow with no weaknesses (my opinion)

I know you disagree because we disagree with each other :joy:.

I see your point but I just don’t think it’s a bad thing that he has that kind of power given that he is a ‘sniper’ of sorts.

I think the Hanzo/Doom match up is dependent on whether Doom lands his slam - some maps it’s just not going to be possible so you have to switch but that’s Overwatch.

Some maps, you can destroy Hanzo as Doom.

Maybe Storm Arrows didn’t need to be buffed or they need to nerf lunge because at the moment, he has insane mobility and storm arrows destroys shields so quickly now.

If hitscans continue to get nerfed, I can see Hanzo being the next character witchhunted.

Hanzo is a high skilled hero and is the hardest hero to play. It takes effort to pull one shot. Every one shot he takes, he misses 10+ in between.

Getting rid of it will make it worse.

I always read this in a upset tracer voice.

Like come on… Theres more ohk than normal abilities

Yeah probably, but why is he so good at close range? He melts tanks for fast and kills flankers with storm arrows easily, i think they should make him mid-close range instead close-mid-sometimes-far range

Sonic arrow can one shot in the head just like his normal arrows, so yes a lot of damage potential

My only problem is when i dive him as dva or winston which are supposed to counter him and he just uses storm arrow and mows through my health or jumps and wallclimbs away. Hes got to much. The oneshot is fine though.

yes (twenty characters)

hahahahaha lmao :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: , you need a chill pill babe

It’s not any different from a normal arrow so unlike Storm Arrows they don’t really count in my book.

Yes. 20chars neeeded

I think it’s fair. And I hate Hanzo.

Hanzo uses a bow and arrow, so his shots are projectiles. Unlike Widow, having a projectile based sniper means he’s much more counterable as you can see his arrows flying and avoid them. The only time you avoid a Widow shot is if she misses.

And with Widow, she doesn’t have Hanzo’s utility. She deals instant damage, but can’t do anything else to help her team until she builds her ult and gives her team infrared.

So it’s a fair trade off. Hanzo’s got a more utility focused kit and can deal decent damage, whereas Widow deals a scary amount of damage but has a lot less utility for her team.
