Sexist harassment

I don’t even get why. I don’t have a mic, I don’t respond or interact, I just report and avoid and move on. It’s creepy that they’re fixated on me so much and I know I shouldn’t make it a gender issue so much, but, as a woman, I barely feel safe playing anymorw

I hope that Blizz support can help you, sorry that you have to go through this.

Unless you’re posting your address or personal information somewhere they can find, I’m not sure how they can harm you other than making you lose a video game.

Safe as in, peaceful and calm. Sorry I didn’t say it properly

To be honest all I can recommend is a name change because if blizzard does ban their account they can just find you on another account and throw again…

They’ve said so themselves. They also stack so they barely get reported

Hmm… the only solutions you have are to avoid them. If they stack, what you can do is only avoid one of them in order to keep them all from joining your games.

Report them every time, and INCLUDE WRITTEN INFORMATION in the report. Blizzard is more likely to look at it if there is written information.

And maybe stack yourself. Try to group with people that are willing to report them with you OR stack so that your group is too big to put both of you together.

Finally, since you play on PS4, try to make an Alt. There’s ways to make free alts without making additional subscriptions to PSN. Make the username completely different and use a different profile icon. And hey, MMR reset! Whoooo!

I’m very sorry this is happening to you. But dudes can be dudes sometimes. We’re not all like that, I promise.

(Just know that the reason they are picking on you is because they probably feel insecure about the fact they have no girlfriends/boyfriends.)

That just means I lose all the progress I made on my main account. The skins and such

Again, you could try to stack yourself or keep reporting them.

I think that it’s worth it if you can still play the game you love.

Wait your on PlayStation?

I have kept reporting them and nothing has happened. I also like playing alone as it’s less hectic

Yeah, they’re on PSN on their profile.

Well the only way people can message you is through PlayStation messages. Have you contacted PlayStstion Support??

Ehh, yeah, I get it.

If you can, try LFG for comp. it’s rarely used, but this situation is what it’s for.

People can also just use mic to avoid getting banned on PSN. If PSN has nothing on their end then they can’t do anything.

I reported them and blocked their messages, but they still keep throwing when they see me in their team

Post in the technical support forum. Explain that you tried all in game methods to avoid these people harassing you. And mention in game reporting, muting, avoid list, and any other methods. Post their name, and video link, then edit out the names and link (game codes work good, too). Blizzard can see edited out info. Also mention you edited out the names and video, so they have access to it, but so you don’t break the defame name rule.

Is it ok if I asked what elo you’re at?

If they keep messaging you I’d take it directly to PlayStation support. Eventually if they get banned enough they can do a hardware ban.

If I can give you some advice… unblock them. Let them make those comments. Then report those comments and then the account will get banned on PSN.

It’s worked for me before. And quite fast too; they banned them within the hour.
