Did they just turn off the servers tonight? The ping is absolute trash. Unplayable. This is like week 1 of launch level of lag.
Everyone in my matches was saying lag spikes. This is just so terrible blizzard. We gonna get another free item for this at least?

…did you try just swapping servers from the launcher in the event it was a temporary issue…? 
changing servers does nothing as all regions are connected now
If you set your region to Asia and go in game, you’ll still be put in a game for your actual region
The region selector does nothing since June 2021

It’s not our ISP, and we shouldn’t have to swap regions for one of the most hyped launches of the year. It’s not a temp issue. Tons of content has been released on this topic. The servers feel extremely unoptimized and downgraded - especially when in a crossplay lobby (probably has some kind of “slowdown” to include the diverse and welcomed skillsets of console players and their hardware).

I used to play soley on the US servers and since that update I cannot unless I block all EU server IP
Also here is a mega thread about it, but the dev never did add the option to pick again.
Hmmm, I saw a post about about a ‘global battlenet’ but it didn’t seem to say anything specific.
When OW2 launched I saw differences when I swapped between the ‘Americas’ and ‘Asia’ servers. Are you saying the region button doesn’t do anything?
games trash its gonna die becuase of how S#$@ they’ve been treating it and i cant wait for its downfall they deserve it for how theyve been treating this launch of overwatch 1.5 made by the small indi company blizzard
