RIP Ana (Really Frustrated at the neglect)

Well it’s been fun.

With the buffs to Zen, and now Bap on the way, that Ana offers is almost totally pointless.

They seriously can’t be thinking this is okay, when Moira and Brigitte exist in a game where Ana’s only defensive tools and healing are on 12 and 10 second cooldown.

Ana is PUNISHED for healing someone who doesn’t need 75 health; No other support, not even Brigitte suffers from this. Zen, Lucio, and Mercy just heal you to full and lose nothing, Moira has a lingering after heal, and Brigitte gives armour.

Like seriously getting really mad with how they have continued to ignore and keep Ana in the dirt.

He needs changes STAT to even compete.

Bap HEALS FROM HIS ULT, AND DOING DAMAGE; ANY DAMAGE. I can get to 400 hp on her yet Ana isn’t allowed to have a healing passive and more ammo?

Even though Bap’s ult charge was nerfed and that wasn’t something I expected to happen.

Though Bap did live up to expectations, he’s super powerful.

oh boo hoo the grandma isn’t on top anymore god the tragedy what will ever do now

But why play Ana, when I could play Moira or Brigitte, do more for the team, and be rewarded for my efforts

What does Ana offer at this point, that they don’t other than Anti-heal?

It’s just depressing seeing how far Ana has fallen, and then THIS

What Zen buffs are you talking about? Is there an experimental?

QOL changes were big

Threads like this made devs push Ana to be one of the best supports ingame.

Problem is that Bap needs to be up close and personal with the team to really take benefit of his abilities. If he sticks at medium ranges with Ana, then Bap loses value. Moira/ Bap or Zen/ Bap are WAY more effective support options

And that’s the problem again, Ana can only be viable because of another character? Why can’t they just fix her and let her be viable by herself.

Bap Moira brig

Brig Moira technically bap

bap

Single target and hard to hit in all fairness

Bruh. Ana is way better than Moira

They’re both used in the same amount of comps from what I can think, they’re both pretty bad rn just for different reasons

Doesn’t matter about the healing output sadly; Since Bap is in the thick of things his large passive aura heals up the people around him. Mix that with Moira/ Zen and range doesn’t really matter as he can heal anywhere.

Ana still has the worst winrates up until GM , and soon Bap will have a 16% pickrate. Ana LOOKED like she was on the way to being at least niche, but I don’t doubt she’ll be dropped

For awhile supports were dependent on Ana. Personally I dont see problem with Ana being dependent on someone for once.

No, what Ana offers is too little at this point to be worth the effort of keeping her alive.

But… But… MuUuUuUh SkIlL :sob: :sob: :sob:.

Ana generally replaced Moira in comps, there was really only one comp that Moira was able to get value and Ana could not and that was nerfed to a degree by removing the ability to heal through barriers.

Not wanting to discredit Ana

It’s just how powerful Bap and the other supports work together as

Bap doesn’t NEED them to work. It’s just always a benifit to have them.

Ana doesn’t offer anything other than range (Than both Bap and Zen have) and Antiheal which is the only thing Ana has.

About the Winrate; Widowmaker has a higher winrate in every rank except bronze, and we know Bastion is getting a rework.

Erm…If you think this is “in the dirt” then have I got news for you.

Consider yourself lucky that this is considered bad for Ana. Take a quick look at other heroes and how long many have been throw picks on almost every map. You’re lucky.

Yes she is?

There is only room on a team for 2 supports

Ana is underpowered
Mercy is dull if not balanced
Lucio has been power creeped
Zen is Zen
Moira does what Ana does but easier

If Bap and Zen receive slaps, Ana will probably rise again. She is just “overshadowed”. Plus dont undervalue nanoboost.
