The rating system is broken due to the 50/50 rule in place. not all players group up with a competitive community in their grasp. several friends who still play the game , top 500 is smurf accounts of the top 15 people. They also have multiple accounts in lower ranks. Dafran has 10 accounts in top 500 kabaji, Yeatle tons of top players have multiple accounts . so the top is a mess with smurfs not so much throwers and you are not going to stay anywhere near gm if you are throwing every game. So where does it leave that thrower player? diamond, plat, gold and silver. the effect of throwing snowballs and destroys the mass player base. Those accounts are out of whack for MMR and Sr and they are put into a “fair” game which they are diamond in a gold game and they own a gold sr rating.
Depending on mood they either carry the role they are on and have a better chance of victory or they still throw. I did not say they would win because this is still a team game and mistakes can be made. so if you are in the mass player base Plat Gold Silver you will encounter losses based on your own mistakes someones mistakes and a 70% chance of having a thrower on your team. Thats why you feel its rigged. The worst answer anyone can give is just get good bro or say well you deserve to lose 800sr your not a low plat you are a silver. The system is terrible. People are forgetting that Blizzard didnt want to make this competitive mode in the first place when they made the game it was just going to be skill based matchmaking without any ranking system you could see.
