Well let’s have a bit of a lesson. Double jump is one of the most predictable movement patterns in the game. Dash was used to close distance usually not to finish kills, you don’t spam right click you aim it it’s not like Moira where you just aim in their general direction. Also on Genji you have to kill someone in 2 seconds to get your reset or you die because they get insta healed and GG youre dead and your team has lost the team fight.
“High effort hero” like jumping in the face spamming right click.
If you loose your foundation of player e.g. the majority, you will crash your game.
Genji is easy and obnoxious in all ranks except “pro level”.
He’s fine. Soujorn is fine in lower ranks.
When you only getting Genji tin hats across all ranks and in 90% of the games its crap.
Why even bother to maintain 16 dps heroes at that point. Just make it all genji /s

Except how you can flip direction in mid air, get on top of someone and go back and forth over their heads?
If you were using dash to close and not confirm kills with the combo, you were doing it wrong.
I’ve literally watched countless kill-cams of Genjis doing exactly this.
On other heroes you have to kill the other person before they get killed too.
This was a bad lesson.

Yeah let’s do precisely that! Throw balance out of the window and make the entire game Genji Genji GENJI. That is all us Genji players want us to have by far the best hero in the game which he really has never been aside from very dispersed 2 week periods. I’m advocating for balance of a hero I enjoy playing, like I advocate for balance of other’s heroes for example, a kiriko nerf, a hog nerf, a sojourn nerf, a Cassidy buff, many other things.
At last you show your true thinking.

Go watch any skilled Genji player, I sure as hell know how to play my hero.
Genji’s only escape card without the reset is deflect, which doesn’t mean you get away for free, unlike Tracer or Reaper.

During this period we should remember his neutral game was actually so bad that the only thing he was good at was nanoblade. He was considered by many as the worst hero in the game during this time period.
When he’s going back and forth over top of you in close proximity arcs, “look up” doesn’t work.
So you’ve never seen Genji players spamming right click from close distance? Never ever?

Who? All the pros and top 500 people that were dominating on him?
I’m sorry he couldn’t have a godly ult that literally defined the meta AND an amazing neutral game. Then maybe he’d have been able to solo carry instead of his paltry, pathetic hard carry ult potential.

His TTK literally has not changed on a 200hp target. That’s just cap.
The same number of right clicks and shuriken’s required to hit are the exact same number that it was before.

Alright let’s use some logic then are you spamming left click with Sojourn to build rail charge to spam her rail gun? Do you spam tracer’s pistols? Do you spam Reaper’s shotguns? Do you spam Hanzo’s arrows? Do you spam Echo’s tri-shots? Do you spam Kiriko’s papers and kunai? Do you spam Hogs Scrap Gun? Idk if this is news but you have to shoot at your target??
Do to him being in his worst state lossing alot of his kill combos like his dash melle full head shot combo on 250 hp heros his ability to do conistent dps lowered by 25% a huge nerf making his ult take long to get in turn. He also feels worst to play as along sode his fan animation being messed up slowing it down for some reason.
That is anecdotal and not really because if you saying its a skill issue then loosing to hog and sojourn is a skill issue in turn they arnt strong just learn to play against them better or leanr to use them inturn. And if yiur forced to counter swap then you might be the skill problem.

When you did your math you excluded the part where headshots exist, many breakpoints were changed you just didn’t think hard enough.
That’s what the point of a nerf is, yeah. To make a character a bit less effective. Not destroyed. Less effective. You know… because he was too effective before.

Genji’s not a poke hero, thats why left click is rarely used for that reason. If you played poke with Genji you can see far better results with literally any other hero.
So… if you’re not using his left click then you’re usinnnng?
