Many players logged in and saw they did not receive end of season competitive points based off season 9 rank. The bug forums are littered with posts because people don’t realize the change.
What was the purpose of this change? To discourage climbing ranks? Why are we forced to earn our points twice now?
You get 100 points per 30 games. So for the 3k that you’re claiming we can earn that’s anywhere between 100-900 games depending on your wins/losses. (If I did the math correctly)
Revert the changes, get rid of legacy competitive points and add the pool back to regular competitive points, and make gold and jade available for purchase. The best solution is so straight forward, why is blizzard needlessly complicating something that could be SO SIMPLE?
The idea was that with the secondary system, we would get more points to compensate for the loss and get points even faster.
Win = 3 points
Lose = 1 point
The old version was:
Every 10 points you get 250 comp points
The trash, updated, nerfed to hell version (current) is:
Every 30 points you get 100 comp points
Not to mention that wins now only bring us 10 instead 25 like before. So they made the system WORSE than it was before. But so many people seem to not care, but this pisses me off.
