Required ball nerfs to make him ballanced in a line with the rest of the tank roster

Since rat is top1 tank in any NA EU CN ladder whole top500 is with his ugly face, I consider him as modern brig, and threatment would be the same, 50 nerfs or so so.

Boop damage 25 (like 50 damage is quarter of squshie hp)
Shield gain 50 per enemy (no more primal on cooldown)
no initial free 100 shields (Should be only one way how it is working)
decreased ammo 80 to 60 (or increase its spread)
some pd aoe change so it dont suck you in to elevations or down from it.
pd max damage 50 like winston’s jump pack.
Grapple hook cd increased to 8s, lasts 5s max (no spin to win cheese anymore)
minefield lasts 10s instead of 20.
respawn penalty - can not use grapple for 10 seconds after spawn, or got additional spawning time instead.

All damage numbers decreased will make him harder to abuse simple boop and run strat to build his ult also ult should give less value than 20s and 2 hits each mine.

That way blizz does with ashe, widow, hanzo, some sort of cree being gutted, they disable all these heroes to do their job as dps, ashe gets raw damage nerfs, cant see a reason why any of these changes above would not be fair in comparison, litteraly need to apply all of them and he still be viable, caue you know it is rat in the end…

Even then, this feels like blind firing.

May be not all of these nerfs at once, but 2 in time would see how it goes and add the rest if no diff.

I agree with the most, but I think PD should be his unique ability which does different than winston’s jump pack imo, mb 75 damage max instead?

for a love of god blizz implement all of this, it is impossible to play tank cause of ball, it is impossible to play anything cause of ball, freaking broken!

He is a freaking tracer/df on steroids as a supp/dps player I’ve just give up playing solo ladder where peeling is a problem and this hero survives somehow after sleep and 2 stuns…

Imagine if Ball was so OP right now that he took all of those nerfs and was still an above average tank.

He was touched multiple times since his release.

Not saying Ball is fine, but he was buffed a few times after release and has had adjustments and powershifts.

No matter how hard ppl consider this post as a troll, yes, he will be still above average, but this is how much should be changed about him, to consider him as anywhere near ballanced. I play every elo from bronze to mid GM, and every game consists of 1 or 2 balls. Even down there in diamond they’ve learnt already how to abuse him to get free value just by existing. You just boop ppl. and there is no counterplay litteraly, you use your cooldowns at this ball, he will just get away and get back with the same after like 5-6 seconds and will boop you when you are on cooldown. You killed ball, count 9-8-7…1 balling down! There is no incentive to kill him cause he will come back so fast, there is no incentive to shoot him, cause adaptive shields are so ballanced and gives nothing to you.
Any other hero you know you will kill and you will get reward, like killing this annoying cockroach genji will give you free highground and melt down their support line. Killing rein will provide space for your team to push forward, killing mercy will disable their dps…etc… killing ball gives nothing but time for enemy team to take adv. positioning towards you. I have a buddy ball abuser his name is boogie, he said, speciefically on 2cp he has stupid strat, when you just roll down mid of the 2nd chocke, feeed instantly, then at the time you will comeback the teamfight would be initiated, and you just randomely occur at right spot at right time, so you can feed back to back and win games in GM like that!

I’d like to see a few of those but with all of these might aswell delete the hero. Here are a few i liked:

  • Knockback damage reduction to 30 instead of 25
  • decrease ammo to 60 is also fair
  • grapple cooldown increase is also fair but i’d maybe make it 7 or 6 seconds instead of 8.
  • Minefield lasting 15 seconds or just increase ult cost by a considerable amount and leave it the same duration as it is.

Unpopular opinion but hammond is not busted in his abilites but its how frequent he can do it which is busted

I dont think messing with his abilities is a good idea but nerfing his cooldowns is one nerf he deserves

Ashe lost self sufficiency, she lost all her actual combos to kill anything in this game reliably no let pepegas just run away.

combos were
85x2 (hs scoped) + melee = 200
85x2 + hip fire = 210
85x2 +85=255
Then they decrease damage to 80, we still have some
80x2+hipfire = 200
but + meele stop working (190 damage)
now with 75 damage you capped at 190 max with anything besides follow up shot which is already increased TTK and unreliable way to secure actual kills, nobody at GM will be staring at you for such a long time. If some reapper runs at you and you don’t have coach gun to esacpe, all you can rely on is your aim, so you put 1 bullet in a head, and one in body and he is alive now, but not you!

Hanzo was gutted in terms of irrelevant arrow speed, a hero forced to play jumping at your face now to hit anything. So it doesnt matter how fast you will mis with your E-ability.
