I left one match and got a ten minute ban, wtf, blizzard remove the damn leaver penalty already, its the worst thing you ever did. Leaving one match should not give you a ten minute ban, it shouldn’t even give you a 30 second ban let alone 10 minutes

the last 2 weeks have been extremely miserable to play Overwatch. The saturation of poor player behavior is making this game super unpleasant to play.
Dont get me wrong. This game is fun. But it would be nice to play some good overwatch matches without freemium accounts constantly being created and creating all sorts of problems.
We need leaver penalties OUT of quickplay and strengthened for Competitive gameplay.
Competitive is where they really need to focus on the leavers, and dont.
Quickplay they give too much attention to and it is very unnecessary to dish out leaver penalties since rank is not at stake, stats dont matter and it still has backfilling while competitive doesn’t.

Oh no, OP. See this? You have left 4 games out of your last 20! Thats 13,083 player experiences youve single handedly ruined! Dont leave 2 more games or something otherwise you’ll get 2hr leaver penalty.
If you’re leaving 15% or more of your games, then clearly OW isn’t the game for you. Stop making it other peoples’ problem.

its a 10 minute suspension how about we get some actual game and rule enforcement that is active in this game instead of dealing with Winter break trolls that just want to disrupt matches.
I mean if we are supposed to create alt accounts, act out and all that like everyone else. Certainly no reason to play “nice or fair” on an alt account just to get matches in. maybe then we can push out these trouble makers once they have a taste of their own meds.
This is outta hand. Want to play overwatch, dont want to wait around 10 minutes because there is no actions being taken on trouble maker accounts.

its a two way street at this point. We cant get matches in at all, because we have so many trouble makers.
Gee, maybe we should go run out and download the game’s files, run it through an emulator and make our own online Overwatch game. Seams nobody’s home at the control station anymore.

I cannot tell if you are being facetious or not. Leaving 15% of games is lowkey not even that bad. Just saying that makes the penalty sound absurd to be perfectly honest.

No, I want to play Blizzard’s Overwatch , dont tell me what to do.
What I want is a game company to step up to the plate and deal with these bull (redacted) smurffs ruining games ,
and I dont want to have to go make my own cracked version of the game with nvidia AI and publish it to the internet, because I dont want to spend 3 years in court over license disputes.
Overwatch is for me. Its for everyone. only people that cause problems love the leaver penalties because it creates a freeloaders zone to troll and ruin the game for others. maybe its time they go find another game to play and stop trolling our matches.
Been here playing since 2017. only reason to walk away from a match is when someone acts like a total dirtbag and doesn’t want to play Overwatch for what it is. They can either act civilized or deal with an empty lobby. It shouldn’t be our problem they wont grow tf up and act like descent humans.

yeah and people should see it for the same. Stop wasting people’s time in quickplay if you dont want to play Overwatch and just want to screw around and not play.
two way street. we shouldn’t have to stick around if people want to play power-wash simulator outside a capture point, and do nothing.
People B&M about leavers ruining “their games” but dont give two flying (redacted) about why people got sick of them in the matches in the first place and left.
these last two weeks are proving these penalties are (redacted) and one-sided, we get no actual game enforcement of people that want to (redacted) around and not play, yet get PO’d beyond conventional belief and B&M in chat that people are leaving their lobby.
All bets on, we got a steaming pile of trash here being shoveled in only one direction and the other side of the problem wont get fixed.

You signed up for a game, so finish it. Nor are you going to get the game you want. It’s not a problem unless you’re intentionally making (and constantly) making it a problem.

The only time you should be leaving games is during “Assemble Your Team” or “Prepare to Attack/Defend”… you don’t (or at least from my experience don’t) get a penalty for leaving during those.
It’s also nice if you really f/ing hate the map you’ve been shunted into. (coughPUSHcough)
If you leave during a game because your team isn’t doing well then uhm.
That’s a you problem.
