Whether she was used in it or not is not what im saying. Yes she was a part of it, a part that was later swapped out, but there were multiple heroes who were big parts of Goats and yet you never see people complaining about them as much as brig.
My point was that she did not cause GOATS to be created as the OP is saying she did, her addition to the game did not lead to the creation of goats as there were about 2 other metas that occurred after her addition that did not have heavy focuses on her. She was just the easiest scapegoat to point blame at as she did have problems at launch and needed toning down, but at the end of the day the hero that created goats would have been widowmaker more than brig.

Forgot to add that no Brig main wants Brig 1.0 and we never asked for it. We just want a tanky, frontline, Paladin Brigitte. Not a main healer raid boss.
But people on these forums will forever hate the hero and or just want her to remain garbage while being toxic to people that play her in-game.

It’s a little confusing knowing what you want when you say you don’t want raid boss Brig while at the same time saying you want raid boss Brig. You say you want tanky frontline Brig and that’s exactly the reason she was called a raid boss, because she was so tanky

All they had to do to make her balanced is move her to the tank class and nobody woudl have had problem with her.

I wasn’t angry. Just really surprised that someone could say something so delusional so confidently with 0 evidence and nothing to back it up. No one who understands the game would agree with something like that.

Nah brig 1.0 was best if OW would release another version around 1.0 i would play that in a heartbeat.

You can be a frontline Brig without being a “raid boss”.
Think less Brigitte at launch, and more Brigitte just before 2-2-2/Role Queue.

I have yet to see a single thread discussing Brigitte’s balance that doesn’t bring up 1.0. It’s really annoying.
Like bringing up genji’s old triple jump in every genji thread or mass rez in every mercy thread etc.
Multiple characters have been in overpowered states but people eventually move on and discuss the current iteration of said characters. Except Brigitte…

because she brought too many devastating consequences. And the dev refused to nerf her for a few seasons. I still play brig now and I dont want they buff her just to please the W M1 playstyle
so just because she brought something new to the game that EVERYONE overreacts and is dramatic about means you should bring it up every year and every few months?
