Not overreact and dramatic, you should see old clips of streamer fighting against her, and yes, this is the forum to discuss, there is no should or should not. People bring out what their opinions are. So in short? I should 100% do it since its the forum ?

You’re right, Brig was aimed at Tracer and made other DPS irrelevant because of that. But here’s the thing: That doesn’t show how bad release Brig was, it shows how bad Tracer was before Brig. If it took RELEASE BRIG to be the thing to stop Tracer, that lets you know how BROKEN Tracer was. Yes, release Brig was absolutely overpowered. But the fact that the only thing that could keep Tracer in check completely destroyed literally any other DPS showed how absurdly broken Tracer was.

Yet we keep dwelling on Brigitte. How about we don’t dwell on either of them? The past is the past, and Brig is a very different character. Brig HELPS tracer now with her armour packs and Tracer literally counters her.

Bringing up how Brig USED TO be OP and ignoring the facts that:

  1. She was put into the game to counter Tracer, and the fact that she needed to be that OP to do so shows how broken Tracer was.

  2. She isn’t even a problem anymore. Tracer literally counters her. The character Brigitte was added to the game to counter now isn’t even threatened by a Brig. And, Tracer is STILL one of the best DPS in the game.

I know that you’re probably going to argue that “Tracer is supposed to counter Brigitte, Brigitte is a support!”. Simply enough, Tracer should not counter every support in the game, but she DOES. Tracer mains complained about how easy it was for release Brig to kill her rather than vice versa. Yet in the current state of the game, support heroes need to be MUCH more skilled than a Tracer to win a duel. Simply enough, the ones who can kill her have 0 mobility, and the ones who have mobility can’t kill her.

So I don’t know why we’re bringing up old Brigitte when Tracer basically created her existence and when Tracer is STILL overpowered whilst Brigitte is just good.

it doesn’t matter if you created them or not your not getting the point, brigitte wasn’t this tank/dps that was also a healer. she mainly only was a tank and a DPS since her heals were weak and she couldn’t solo heal AT ALL.

those 3 videos show how overdramatic the community is about brigitte, old brigitte was left behind and now brig is a shadow form of her old self which yes is a good thing.

not really no, it’s visually entertaining i’ll give him that but everything in that video was so over exaggerated
