Because people think Rein and Rein players are to blame for Brigs nerfs, along with those dastardly Genji and Tracer mains.
Iunno, it has a pretty big tell. That small window is pretty big. That’s like saying there’s a small window to stun lucio out of his ult.
Ok yeah, Ana is a bad example. I was thinking of the old days where the only counter to nanoboost was a sleepdart.
The point I was trying to make is that Earthshatter’s best counter is a Rein barrier.
Or it’s because he’s the most picked hero in the game? And has no competition for his role outside of dive or very niche scenarios? Or because a team that doesn’t have one will almost always lose to one that does outside of those niche scenarios? But no, you’re right, it’s those damn Brigitte mains.
It’s not like there is a reason for that or anything.
Shatter is pretty predictable if you know he has it. If you spend all your time only reacting and never predicting, it’s only gonna take you so far.
Given Brigs shield bash change only really affects Rein then yeah, thats true. I’d be fine with Bash nerfs being undone because they were never the problem with her.
So basically, have your own Rein or die?
literally not even close to what I said. I said don’t death ball if you don’t have a Rein, which you shouldn’t be doing anyways. If you’re in a Hammond or Winston based comp theres no reason for you to be clustered together.
Technically true, though that extends too all barriers, including mei wall. Though it’s a buggy enough mess that it kind of counters itself at times by simply not working.
It’s .6 seconds. Most stuns are at least half that. Lucio has a 33% larger window than Rein.
What he said is : if you do not have your own shield, do not dance infront of a ult-having Rein.
And by the way, I can counter shatters as Mei and as Orisa with ease. Sombra is good as well. It is not a question of luck, it is a question of being aware where Rein is.
It is not Reins fault that you jump in front of him without something to block him or stun him out.
Predictions can only go so far and, again, come down to luck pretty often. If you mess it up, then you don’t get another chance.
And he doesn’t need to get your whole team to get huge value from it. He can get one or two key picks with it and end the fight.
Mmm. But Rein shield is by far the most reliable for that task, because it’s mobile and not tied to a cooldown.
That’s literally what I have been doing for every hero I play, especially Winston.
It has made me a better player, though the Brigette nerfs are still very much welcomed.
I’m willing to bet the wiki’s wrong on that one. The video it’s using is a really old version of shatter.
very fair point
The cast time has never been changed, so…? Pretty sure it’s correct.
That is actually impossible considering the animation for it changed, twice actually.
You don’t need to “dance infront of a ult-having Rein” for him to hit someone with it.
Animations can have the same duration. If it were changed, it would most likely have been mentioned anywhere, at all, ever, which it hasn’t.
Frankly, I think Earthshatter is a pretty easy ultimate to track/predict and thus avoid, but that’s probably just me.
Lol yeah just like Syms recent buff right?
that’s what i’m saying. it has one of the biggest tells.
Hey everyone! Reinhardt now can shatter people 360° around him! It passes through walls! It is not at all stunnable out of him! Rein is the ultimate… Ultimate machine!
