Reaper needs a way to engage and then possibly disengage in battle. This wont be anything special though without increase the casting time a little.
what ya’ll think. Reaper is below McCree level trash right now but his kit allows way more possibilities for improvement.
I don’t know, I’ve played both McCree and Reaper lately and I do way better on reaper but his shadow step ability can be suicide if done wrong and I am not sure there are any buffs to prevent that. Reaper requires more planning than McCree but McCree’s ULT is much easier to avoid when going against and McCree dies so much easier and is way slower. Reaper’s ULT however can be a staple to winning games, McCrees can too but it’s much more difficult to catch the other team off guard to land it right.
Step one. Befriend Symmetra
Step two. Ask her to bulid you teleporter to desired destination.
Step three. Teleport.
Step four. Profit.
But seriously speeding up his teleport is something people asked since begining. And been ignored for reasons unknown.

Reaper is simply hard countered by Brig to the point that he can’t be played meanwhile McCree is now useless with reworked Hanzo. Both needs improvements, shadow step and combat roll are the worst abilities in the game
Reaper needs spread reduction on his shotguns.
lol, there are times where the enemy is like in my face and headshot him and the enemy loses like less than 100 of HP.
That’s ridiculous.
Reaper is weak even where he is supposed to be strong, which is close combat.
While a spread reduction would def help with that, as to why you cant one shot even when point-blank, thats cuz of this : Reaper's spread is binary
I don’t think reaper needs a second shadowstep. A faster one? Sure, but nothing too drastic.
I would rather increase the range.
It just needs to have 1 second of total animation time shafted and its golden. (1 second from startup, so its possible to use while falling or .5 second from startup and recovery so its no longer so easily punishable by death.)
For anyone confused this is how Shadow Step functions:
Press E to start the targetting phase, ure free to move while doing so.
1 second of startup : the time it takes for Reaper to cross his arms edgly and then disappear.
1 second of invulnerability: the time it takes for Reaper to “cross” the gap and Reappear.
.5 second(s) of recovery: the time it takes for Reaper… to recover from the animation, usually the time he dies…
so it takes 2.5 seconds to complete fully, the ideal should be 1.5 second(s) imo, still callsout his position and has loud af footsteps so its still not sneaky at all but at least its kinda useful to cross distances and high-ground… or y’know do some cool flanks if you could use while falling or even gettho escaping since it could be instant.
