Random latency increase?

My latency recently jumped from ~65 to ~95 (like in the last 12 hours). This really hurts my accuracy on snipers and hit scan heroes.

Is this something I might have done? I moved some stuff around on my router/modem… Surely I can’t increase my own latency by what I did. ???

Are there ways to reduce latency with my hardware?

Edit: looks like multiple threads were started for this issue, and it is related to Spectrum East Coast latency issue.
