PSA: hanzo has smaller projectile hitbox than ashe

From my little testing, it looks like blizzard didn’t revert base projectile size nerf from february (going form 0.1 to 0.075) for his normal arrows. It makes his arrows have smaller hitbox than ashe and only 50% bigger than widow (0.05). Storm arrows have bigger hitbox tho.

Ashe’s hitbox size is disgusting, especially for a hit-scan.

Season 9 just needs to be fully reverted!

Well hanzo now is more than fully reverted. His projectile size is 25% smaller than in season 8 lul

i think they genuinely forgor they globally nerfed it

Same, thats hilarious

Did some more testing in workshop (thanks to some reddit user for code). And it looks like he is in fact 0.1 (the change from 0.075 to 0.1 was reversed in march). So we are just bad lul

LOL

We have been shooting logs for half a year.
It’ll take us a while to adjust.

Instead of nerfing her already slow reload they could’ve just not made her shoot logs :upside_down_face:

I’m hitting alright, it’s the charge time that’s going to take time to get used :joy:

The only way S9 will ever be reverted is inside of the 6v6 mode.

And theres almost no way Blizzard is stupid enough to not revert the seasonal changes that were designed specifically for addressing 5v5’s lack of tank cover for burst damage.

Im convinced 6v6 if implemented correctly will would astoundingly well because SO many of their braindead little changes should end up completely turned off. 5v5 obviously, the S9 hitbox and HP changes, most of the role passives,

My only issue is what theyre going to do with the braindead designs of Kiriko and Illari, as sub roles like Main and Off healers will exist again, where those two fit into neither of those roles as they have the damage of Off healers but the direct healing numbers of Main healers.

Hanzos is still as big, charge the bow

People complaining about the projectile size when they gave us back the one shot. This community…

One-shot is the only thing that makes Hanzo not a troll pick. Everything else he contributes is below average.

Cool, so like I said, he’s literally in an even worse state than ever. Looking at what he’s lost since OW2 launch:

I’ll take that damage increase to 140-150 and/ or arrow speed increase to 180mps (roughly a 60% increase, comparable to the size he’s lost since S9). Its only fair considering how much slower, weaker, easier to kill, and less consistent he is compared to before S9 where as characters such as Widow and S76, even shotguns characters like Reaper, have bullet sizes of 0.05 compared to Hanzo’s 0.075, and others like Cassidy and Ashe have 0.08.

Either Hanzo is getting significant buffs by next season, or other characters are getting significant nerfs to their HP or bullet sizes. And half that reason is because an arrow, a projectile at that, is somehow the size of a hit scan bullet, including those with a spread.

Placebo effect is one hell of a drug lol😭

Also while we’re on this topic do you know of any workshop codes that show damage values?

This is okish I think

Thats ok because 90% of Ashe’s damage comes from her dynamite.

Ashe doesn’t one shot though does she?

Who. Cares.

She gets off 2 shots that kill, faster than hanzo gets off 1 shot.

She also has falloff as well, and can’t effortlessly melt tanks like hanzo can, and as op has pointed out they were wrong, Ashe’s bullets are 0.08m hanzo’s arrows are 0.1m.

Ashe is op but it’s not her damage that makes her op it’s that she can summon a 6th player that has aimbot, 2 passives and can contest points with over 1000hp

yooo thanks thats pretty good
