Not in the truest sense of the word…but people with cancelled matches will surely not complain…thoughts?
I wish it would have been here from day 1, but I know that would have just set everything else back. I’m glad it’s here for the occasions I do queue as DPS!
I feel like this is a good first step towards improving the DPS queue times. One cool idea would be to implement a priority DPS queue system if you’ve played 2 or 3 tank/support games in a row, then the next time you queue into DPS, you’ll get games faster. I feel like this would be a great incentive to encourage flexing to other roles and by consequence, speed up DPS queue times in general.
This should certainly help.

You mean low priority for people who often leave matches and get reported a lot?
Sounds like a good idea on paper but in practice you can always get an unlucky disonnect and some off-meta mains are often reported more than actual throwers.
i dont believe he said anything about the people doing the leaving/disconnecting…theyll stay status quo…
its a qol improvement for people who would normally have to get in line again through no fault of their own
Nothing but good in this dev. update. Priority que needs to be expanded on in the future, but this is a good start.
If they can put you where u was prior to game starting then can they not reward flex players with a potential shorter dps que every (4 or 5?) wins as support or tank maybe.
This change is very good regardless
