A recent post by @Starlord informed me that the devs are planning to remove 2CP from the QP and Ranked rotation, and move them to the arcade next competitive season. So, as much as we don’t like 2CP, I would like to host a funeral for Hanamura.

Don’t worry guys, they aren’t deleting the maps! Jeff said that they will either stay in Quick Play or put in the Arcade. Who knows? Maybe they’ll use the maps on a new, unannounced gamemode.
Honestly they all do. People just hate the mode because it is OW distilled down to it’s most pure and frustrating form… teamwork and coordination is key in capping 2nd point and people don’t like not being the solo hero.
I think “Classic Overwatch” will have to happen tbh, because it’s really not fair to dump the whole barrier main tank for players who enjoy that play style to force them all to play brawlers.
