Seeing as DVa and Moira are 1st and 2nd most played heroes this season, respectively, are we awaiting massive nerfs to their play styles to reduce pickrates?

moira no she’s perfectly balanced probly the most balanced new heroe in OW history the only thing they changed was how her orb interacts with various things. as for d.va not likely d.va isn’t even meta rn

No need. Dva is pretty bad with Brigitte right now and moira is just a DPS support that can mainheal. She is also fine but pretty fun to play. No nerf needed.

BTW, what you quoted said they don’t plan to nerf the 3rd most played hero whose pickrate is very close to the top 2, why do you think they would plan to nerf the top 2 based on pick rate alone?
Brigitte will be nerf because her pick rate is Number 1 and her win rate is insane for such a high pickrate. But pick rate alone (unless it’s 95%+) is no reason for nerf.
If you were going to jump to any conclusions from that statement wouldn’t it be that they then think Moira and dva are fine? He said mercy is the third most picked so she is fine. Obviously the first and second most pick heroes are fine as well right?
Do you even play competitve and upto date with what the meta shifted to? Or just randomly make meaningless posts?
There is always a “most played hero”…should Blizzard nerf them just because of that?
As long as a hero is not “mandatory” and counterable only by mirroring that pick,
like it was with Mercy, I see little reason to nerf Moira or D.Va atm.
Mercy was nerfed because the entire game was revolving around her broken state, just like how it is happening with Brigitte at the moment.

Moira’s fine, she’s the only viable main healer (of two main healers which are viable at the moment) that can potentially help turn around fights thanks to also being a DPS and having a reasonable ultimate ability. The other main healer, Mercy, is more a sustainer (or tries to but it’s not that hard to outdamage her Valkyrie healing).
Reaper can’t escape the trap as well, they have the same mechanics.
If you don’t want to have Zarya’s ultimate nerfed, you need heroes who can soft-counter it.
Are you posting from an alternate future? D.Va is pretty bad in this meta…

No… Mercy’s pick rate is higher than Brigitte’s right now, actually.
Jeff Kaplan said Mercy is third in pick rate and his data is much more reliable than Overbuff’s.
Moira is way less problematic than she was last season. I don’t actually hate her anymore.
Unless it’s FFA Deathmatch. Then she can burn.
