*Pockets the tank*

When everyone hates, that mean no one hates.

I have, very rarely. Yes.

I wish it was as easy as you say.
I have games where the tank is facetanking everything, no cover, in the open and the tank is a Hog or JQ with no defensive abilities.
The supports are the literal lifeline to keep them alive.

What I can do on Ana is just hope that the second support will find a moment to turn around. Ana has the highest single target heal and I can keep people alive for much longer than they should, with a good defensive nade and a sleep dart. Anal can heal 55hps (with the dps passive included).

Yeah multitasking would be nice and is usually not a problem, but I mean it when I say the tank blows up if you look away for a second. These games are usually gg from the get go.

Shoot the red support healing red tank instead. No more healing for red tank = your tank wins the fight and thinks they carried. Meanwhile you know who really carried that fight

Issue isn’t that tank blows up if you look away, but that everybody else will blow up in next second.

Your tank still dies, blames you for no healing, you lose the fight.

So, basically, bad of everything. Raw power requires focus in certain area, so you either do 1 thing really well, or you do everything really bad due to not being commited to any area.

Never underestimate ability of player to kill themselves, no matter how many safeguards there are. It’s why I still want mass resurrect back, because players finding death is like finding snow during winter - expected, rather than misfortune.

Here is some humor:

Little boy puts on rubber boots. Mom:
“There is no mud outside, everything is dry.”
Boy:
“I’ll find it.”

If only. Unless I’m playing with my duo It’s the payload that does most of the healing. No joke, often I end up being the one moving the payload, cause even Ana runs off to chase kills.

Seriously though what’s with all those frontline Anas :sob: What is her immobile caboose doing out there in front of the tank

They saw ml7 do it during one of his Twitch streams, they think they can do the same, forgetting the gigantic skill gap that separates them.

just give Nano to tank, he will be even bigger unfairer raidboss :man_shrugging:

like Rammatra,

only DPS worth Nano probably 76, or actually Genji, if you saw him play well or get a nice ult without it,

Rat and McCass probably could pop off too, if their aim isn’t completely horrible.

Even if tank isn’t good at getting kills, with Nano one would be a lot more durable.

Im telling you this as someone who clawed his way from bronze to high masters painfully slowly. A tank that explodes the minute you stop looking at him is not gonna get you a win. At that point you are making it worse by just delaying his death and making him an ult battery. Find the person on your team that is most likely to get elims and make sure to pay attention to them throughout the game.

Remember this also helps the tank. If the dps die the enemy will just push the tank and it doesnt matter how high your heals are. He will die.

Dps provide both supressive fire to keep this from happening and at their worst a distraction so your tank doesnt get focus fired. It is all linked

Well, you don’t have any other tank, so you have to try to make it work.

And then said person simply gets ganged, as you left tank to die, so your possible carry player has to fight enemy tank at best, entire enemy team at worst.

I understand how bitter you are over mercy but your constant negativity is really a downer

it is what it is - you do not have any other tank, and you do not have other player, that could pick tank. So like it or not, you have to make that tank work by whatever means available to you.

It’s not negativity, just reality. Unless that “person more likely to get elims” can literally wipe out entire enemy team in solo, focusing on them won’t work.

And the reality is that soon as the dps is dead your tank will suddenly eat bullets and projectiles from 5 people at the same time. Good luck healing that. I gave my advice, you can take it or leave it

Tank will eat bullets and projectiles anyway, just without your healing 5 people will switch to more squishy targets much sooner.

So I would rather try to heal hero, that is designed to take damage, than hero, that isn’t designed for that at all.

Soldier 76 is shooting the tank. That is almost guaranteed 180 dps going into him. Youre healing lets say 85hps. Now this is just an attrition war that you are losing. You heal the gengu, he distracts soldier 76 and the tank is taking 180dps less damage. You tell me which is more helpful to the tank

So, Genji dies, soldier is back shooting same tank.

At least Genji can focus on getting kills, while 76 is busy with tank, rather than on “how to dodge those 180 dps coming my way”.
