Reminded me of when I was trying Juno in 2-2-2 and I had a very aggro rein in my team, and my brain just defaulted to “If I keep this man alive, he will win us the game”. I never pocketed so hard. He destroyed everyone.

I swear I’m a support player and when I see that it fills me with rage. Dont expect your dps to get kills for you if you offer them no support. Your 30k heals being split between 80% tank 15% co support and 5% on dps when your nade accidentally grazed them is why you lost

Pocketing the tank only, that work where the dps are bad or at least poor, because “healing a dps who aims badly only allows him to aim badly for longer”.

if they are at least correct, it can be a good thing to help them, by sharing their support resources between the tank, the other support and the dps, the sorting being done by the experience acquired.

the problem is that many dps are ashamed to press the key that launches the call “I need healing”, maybe because of the genji meme, or by excess of confidence in their abilities, or by doubt towards their teammates, which can be understood, no one trusts others anymore in this game.

As a main support, I learned the hard way that I must rely only on myself in all situations, it may be different in the high ranks or in teamQ, but I am in the metal ranks in soloQ, so having help other than by luck, it does not exist.

I understand that it’s the same for tanks and dps.

A tank is big, it’s in front, it takes a lot of damage, it automatically and continuously launches healing requests, so it unconsciously encourages you to focus on it.

My buddy has only been interested in OW since 6v6 returned. I’m a trash Mercy, but he likes to play Zarya so I like to pocket damage boost him the whole game. Pretty fun

I learned to appreciate the uselessness of my teammates, I prefer to find it cute than to rage about it.
If they are in my team, they are also in the opposing team. At least I hope so.
As the saying goes, if you can’t count on their ability, then exploit their inability to your advantage.
I realize that it is in some way lying to myself, while being perfectly aware of what I am doing and that it is a miserable attitude not to say pathetic, but it is that or end up sinking into madness.
Lie or madness, I choose the lesser worst, the lie.

That is certainly an interesting strategy and one that I might find myself adopting. Aww, those cute wittle babeh is so chubby, uwu.

I am not a believer. Team balancing is a coastal beauty, mang.

Perhaps I am just not creative enough, but I have absolutely no idea how to leverage my own team’s incompetence.

I am not great at lying, especially not to myself; however, I also believe that from a specific mindset you can justify anything.

If there is anything I am capable of, it is harboring delusions. I got this, fam.

See this is what I’m saying, sometimes you just have to afk on tank so this doesn’t happen

Spamming this key for a minute straight without a single heal, not that I want to spam it.

“why do you keep running away and hugging corners” because I have no health and you refuse to heal anything but a tank.

If you’re a dps and constantly get hit and don’t know how to engage or use cover, good luck.

Are they supposed to let the tank die?

But sometimes you have games where you just can’t heal enough.
Ana has around 750heal per min as an average stat, if you get over 5,5k heal in over 5 minutes and you are nonstop healing, you know you aren’t the issue.
If you look away just for a second your tank explodes.

But yeah, it suck if supports are not looking out for other teammates when they can

You are if youre healbotting the tank. Multitasking is the main skill of all support players as you are able to do a little of everything instead of 1 thing really well. The tank wont explode in 1 second. He can survive on 300 hp for 1 second. Your dps wont on 80 hp

First of all, thank you healers for healing your tank so they can do their job. As a tank main I super appreciate healers who are helping keep HP up though in recent days I have been seeing a more and more healers focus on DPSing when their whole team is critical in front of them (that’s fine if you want to attack from time to time to contribute, but it should be balanced). I also like to play healer but there are days where you get into a game and your DPS (I notice this especially on Junkrats lately) spam I need healing when they took 10 damage and decided to play super out of LOS. Please don’t do this because it distracts your healers by making them look away from characters who do need healing when your HP bar is like 99% full. Happened to myself and another friend so many times. Please try to use environmental cover and be mindful of your healers line of sight / come back to them. They might not be healing you because they’re getting flanked or someone nearer is in bad shape, too.

Honestly pocketing tank is pretty good idea, since he’s usually going to be one catching strays all the time.

“Aww, you must like me!”

edit: I think that one is a damage boosted line but it immediately came to mind lol
