*Pockets the tank*

That’s how you win games.

It’s useless pocketing a DPS in solo queue, in duo or premade sure an Ashe+Mercy can solo carry but nothing worse than giving Nano to a Genji with blade and then he dies in a hole or outside the map.

Play dps for a couple of rounds and see how much you acomplish when youre not healed. This is why RQ is cancer. None of you realise how interdependent the roles are

Help him build ult faster and zarya is a dps disguised as tank anyway, good move.

They are bad supports, they deserve to stay in the bottom of ranks, when you will climb by learning to play with an autonomous character, like s76 for example.

For my part, as support I take it as a personal defeat if I waited too long to help a teammate in need and he died.

I recognize that I am a rare, endangered species.

If I give you the impression of taking me for someone special, it’s not because of excess ego, but more because I’m outside of the current norm.

Norm which is every man for himself and each match has become a match to the death where everyone does their little fight in their own corner without worrying about the others.

You pocket whoever is carrying team to victory/prevents it from collapsing on the spot.

Tank: proceeds to prove you wrong and dies in 0.5 s

Probably. Even while it usually causes immediate collapse of entire team, if enemy tank is still alive.

Instant kills are a thing, so even if you did heal DPS to full, they can perish in blink of an eye and make your healing a waste of time. Tank doesn’t have such issue.

Sometimes, yes. Absolutely.

Low-mid ranked players to this revelation pika shook face

And rest of the team instantly gets vaporised, since they no longer have that shield.

Sadly, you’re a lost cause.

It’s what happens, like it or not. Especially if enemy tank is still alive - one would absolutely wreck your team.

If you’re a tank right now, I wouldn’t heal you.

I am never a tank, since whole concept of absorbing damage feels weird to me. Still, someone has to do it, as other roles are nowhere near as good at it.

Then try to stop taking so much.

I am taking none, and I stand by my statement - tank has to live.

I don’t have to like them, I may even hate them, but they have to live.

No healing for you. :star_struck:

Don’t need it anyway, I am accustomed to healing myself. And to hiding away, if situation becomes too chaotic.

Perfect. Now I can do other things.

Thank you for this neat demonstration.

I’ve never seen survivor bias hit harder than on Support players heal botting in Overwatch.
God forbid one day we get “Healing Received” as a stat on the Scoreboard. I would buy popcorn and just watch the forum burn.

Oh, do they let their tanks die in top 500?
