That is disappointing. My favorite skin is the cheap lunar festival one because of the green wings.
Also, please update valk’s wings. Only pink mercy has pink valk wings.

blizz is bad at color theory but this one is so good!!! I just don’t get the wing color choice, it really doesn’t fit with this skin.

Yeah having a fairy mercy skin with default wing glow doesnt feel right, maybe having it purple or blue, something with a cooler color would be best, other than that the skin looks really good!

I’m an art student too, I was super taken aback by the color choice. For CNY I was disappointed but resigned to accept it. It kind of matched. This one does not match at all.
Really want them to add a viridian or perfect violet to the wings.

This needs to be done by blizzard, this is literally the top comment on the reddit twitter blue post thread, we have people creating art like this to fix it, we have your thread amongst a host of others all screaming the same thing. How could they miss this so large? We have other skins where her wings change full color set, imp/pink off the top of my head.

and I like it honestly. It gives good contrast and I feel like it gives a broader color spectrum. Purple and yellow are complementary colors, no?
I feel like it just fits the theme, but I get that y’all don’t like it. It just makes it feel more magical for me i guess? I like it

Except Mercy has several skins with different colored wings to fit the aesthetic of said skin. For the team to create such a stunning skin and to have this one clashing detail just feels… odd…

Personally, I’d be surprised if they even address it at all.
Yeah I’m kind of stuck on the fence about it. But I think if I had to choose, I’d leave it the way it is. (Changed my mind) I’d change it.
I don’t think it contrasts too badly, it’s actually kind of an interesting contrast. And if it were changed to blue or purple it would just kind of blend together and be more bland.
I won’t be disappointed if they do decide to change it, though. This skin is incredible!

Whitish or pale yellow would be fine, but it isn’t horrendous as the default especially when she’s actually doing things and not just standing there posing for screenshots.

OP is talking about the wings when they are extended, like when she GA’s or is in Valkyrie. You can see it at the end of the teaser video.
