Please stop labeling things OW killers

When you do that… like that entire ganes identity becomes like indirectly about that game and it’s no longer about like… that game, yeah a good game speaks for itself, like I want to play this game but overwatch this and overwatch that and people realize wow… I could just be playing overwatch.

Also “Killing” overwatch is a HUGE task it’s polished very well established, has nostalgia, a community, brand loyal people etc.

And I keep seeing people like tracking Overwatch numbers and my god they shoot the gun so damn early like of course X games players will take a dip for a bit like god damn calm down.

Stop labeling things the “Overwatch killer” do you even know what you’re actually asking? Like legitimately?

Try being a bit more subtle at least like oh I like this, this feels like this, oh this has some similarities with that game I have Overwatch, stop freaking tracking steam numbers like you’re a crypto trader waiting to buy the dip again.

Technically Fortnite killed OW back in 2017. Since then nobody but the OW bubble cares about OW.

This false under the category of an argument I don’t have to actually dispute. The sound design, the feedback the graphics, how smooth it plays, the visuals… and everything else.

This would put you in like flat earther territory of argument making and I realllly suggest you don’t go there.

It’s no Black Myth Wukong but that’s like a different genere and stuff.

For an fps overwatch is still at the top or one of the tops.

Yeah, and after trying it myself, I can confirm that Rivals is nothing like OW and shouldn’t be directly compared. It’s a totally different style of gameplay. More of an unfocused arcade team brawler than a polished hero shooter. Something has to be SIMILAR to OW but better to kill it. These are two different types of games.

Agree! Stop trying to find a game that destroys what you dislike. Find a game that makes you want to play!

Stop hanging around a game you want to die. Start staying around a game you want to live.

Of course. “MaRvEl RiVaLs Is GoInG tO KiLl OvErWatCh”, its the same for any game even remotely similar, everyone say that, and even still OW even in its worst state is the most polished hero shooter. These people will never stop to say these type of things, and then inhale copium. Just don’t listen to them.
