i dont even know what to call this issue but ive been playing overwatch for about 3 years now never had this type of issue this issue had just started yestarday and everytime i open up overwatch to play the cinematic plays and all my video sound settings have been changed to default so if i were to change them it wouldnt matter when i exit out because none of it saves and it goes back to default ive tried looking online on forums find really nothing helpful tried just looking at videos online look through blizzard support nothing so im here i just want to be able to play overwatch because i literally cant when it changes all my settings everytime i exit out and im really not good with computers so im so confused on how to fix this please help
This thing used to happen to me on other games in the past then i reinstall Windows and it got fixed, Look in your Documents Then Overwatch if there is the settings and stuff there or no but yea if nothing works save some of your files that are in Windows Drive and reinstall window
This is a disk permission problem, where Overwatch isn’t allowed to save the settings you have in the app.

i tried everything in this thread and did it correctly nothing worked 
You can try opening a ticket with the staff, or searching reddit for the same issue. It’s not a problem with the Overwatch client, it’s a problem with the local configuration on the computer.
for something that weird it would be best to open a ticket with staff
try the “repair files” option in the blizz client too
