I do wonder if the average regular OW player will go up in ranked when OW2 comes out and some of the casuals that left return. It seems logical.
I am. I was usually plat and at times low diamond pre-role queue. Dropped hard with role queue and can’t climb even close to where I was for many seasons pre-role queue. Open queue I am back where I was at plat and almost Diamond.
So people are surprised they are higher ranked in an easier competitive?
All arcade meme modes have always had very wonky sr adjustment. It says absolutely 0 about your skills compared to 222.
I’ve been diamond in all 6v6 elimination seasons, it doesn’t mean I belong in diamond at all lmao.
Open queue is horrible, people place higher then they should be, you get really crappy match making where GM’s are playing with plats. The leaver penalty makes no sense, sometimes when an entire team leaves you get your SR back and the game just exist anymore. Had a game that was average 4200 on one side and 3600 on the other lol cause they had a plat.
