Remove her RMB boost, it keeps most average mercys from doing the job she is supposed to be doing, HEAL.

I’m not worried about another nerf. I’m worried that Blizzard will continue to ignore stats and player feedback, continue with their gaslighting by claiming that she’s currently fine and balanced, and leave her in this terrible state.

They actually did nerf GA already in three ways. What will they nerf a 2nd time because they’re too stubborn to fix the real problem? (The fact they put rez on e) Just take away every ability except m1 and rez every 30 seconds. Fun stuff.

  • nerfed her ga speed and hop momentum by 50%
  • ga reset was removed (it used to reset the cd when you rezzed)
  • can’t damage boost certain abilities anymore
  • added a self stun to rez
  • nerfed valk flight speed
  • ult duration reduced
  • 3 possible rezzes down to 2 possible rezzes
  • 2 possible rezzes down to 1 rez on a 30sec timer
  • 60 hps > 50 hps
  • removed her pistol bonus damage while ulting
  • removed the pistol rate of fire while ulting
  • rez range decreased

Why didn’t all these nerfs balance her at all? :thinking: :thinking:

after the healing nerf Mercy mains will use her ult to awake the battle mercy that sleeps inside them. so, I think they will nerf her infinite ammo.

Probably Guardian Angel. Either via a cooldown increase or lowered movement speed. I mean there’s nothing else left at this point, unless they finally wake up and get rid of Res on E, which they should have done about a month after it went live.

Mercy:

  • Mercy has now been removed from the hero roster.

Developer comments:
We found Mercy too unfun and frustrating as a hero. We feel these changes will make the game healthier, as we are unable to realize that this rework is broken so we’re going to avoid reverting her by removing her.

Nah I wouldn’t say she’d stay a must pick. If they nerf everything about her but her rez her pickrate’ll go down and she’ll be a huge chore to play but hey she’s balanced now :wink:

NVM there wasn’t anything wrong with her balance before their garbage rework.

It’s so funny to me that people were like “Mercy will finally take skill!”

Like… it’s new to me that pressing E and walking around a wall, or pressing Q, space and LMB was skill?

Ugh. I hate this Mercy.

That reminds me, have any of y’all seen Hoshi’s latest video? It’s pretty funny.

If there is another nerf coming I would guess it goes for her health regen or GA. Giving both abilitys one more second of CD will be another drastic nerf if she goes out of line again.
Currently it doesnt look like they will nerf her again but lets wait and see. In January everyone was happy with the nerfs and now we got another one so who knows what happens.

I know you are angry and everything but stereotyping and blaming others wont help us any further here. So maybe take this one out and try being a better person than those who always have to shame “whateveryoulikeplaying-main” people.
This wont make the situation any better and doesnt help the community being less toxic. Thank you. :slight_smile:

Perhaps… 12 (soon 13 when the PTR hits live) consecutive nerfs have made me cynical though. While I don’t believe Blizzard hates Mercy I can’t help but to think they have no interest in ever spending any effort to make her fun again. And with that mindset I can easily see them throwing in another nerf or “bug fix” because it suits the meta they wish to promote.

The next nerf will happen, when there actually is a need for a nerf. ATM, there isn’t.
