Patch notes out: Heavy Orisa Nerfs

TANK

ORISA

Fortify

  • Duration reduced from 4.5 to 3.5 seconds.
  • Orisa now moves 20% slower while fortified.

Javelin Spin

  • Cooldown increased from 7 to 9 seconds.

DAMAGE

VENTURE

SMART Excavator

  • Maximum explosion damage decreased from 45 to 40.

Drill Dash

  • Initial impact damage decreased from 40 to 30.

Tectonic Shock

  • Ultimate charge cost increased by 10%.

Update: Damage passive buffed back to 20% reduction as well.

The notes say that it’s back up to 20%. Phew. I was worried they were going to go the other way and bring it down to 10%.

Looks like she will be back to a bottom tank, and as far as venture, her too probably. Changed all her breakpoints with combos.

I think this change was needed in order to make the tank role more fun. Orisa should never have been anywhere near the best tank in the game.

lol @ simultaneously buffing DPS passive and heavily nerfing Orisa while Moira and Brig also still suck. I don’t like them either but at least they keep dive in check. who is queuing for support/tank after this?

Every one of those takes more skill than Orisa. Cancer is when low skilled heroes are OP

I swear to god, they keep playing ping pong with that passive.

They should have let the Orisa/Venture nerfs settle down before changing it at the same time.

Either way, this likely means more Kiriko, more Baptiste and more Moira on the support side.

Orisa is pretty easy to deal with as a DPS so she never really bothered me.

But the two least healthy tanks for the game are in no particular order Sigma and Winston imo
