Strange… A lot of the ladies, specifically the attractive ones, are getting more skins on average. Why is this? Any theories?

Venture is not only the newest hero, but also has an aesthetic and background that has niche skin ideas. How many archaeology fans are out there compared to those whose browser histories are frequently cleared?

I have ideas that can fix this problem. Venture finds a fertility artifact, right? And then… You know what, I am going to keep this to myself. I do not want you stealing the plot to my fic.

They made Venture kind of ugly and not the Hog kind of ugly and more of the “woke media” type. Its such a shame, because it seems like its forbidden to get attractive characters in AAA games and those characters are just used to appease twitter.
Maybe its a hot take, but I hope that Space Ranger is a hot female character, that is as strong as Kiriko, talks mostly with Winston and Sigma about Mars and is fun to play, while effective at what she is doing. I pray for no more BS on female characters.
If they do that, she will get skins like Kiriko and make bank. If not, its the 3rd support in a row they messed up.

I would love it if you left your house and wandered around town for a while. You’ll quickly see that the “average” female looks nothing like what’s in your browser history.

I dont see a ton of ugly females outside and I am sorry to tell you that we play a video game and dont try to get as realistic as possible. Sorry if you feel attacked by this statement.

Venture is not attractive. Lets not kid ourself here, because if she was attractive she would have gotten 2-3 skins already because it would make bank.

I only say that Venture is there for ticking boxes and nothing else. Its wasted potential and its more sad than anything, because I like the VA and gameplay. No idea what you try to convince yourself into.

I doubt it’s a hot take. I’m sure there would be a lot of happy people if the game was stuffed with bogstandard anime girls.
My take is hotter: I think Ranger’s aesthetic is generic, boring, and the colour scheme is ugly. If someone wants a roster full of waifus then I’m sure there are entire other games dedicated to that, but I’d rather OW has a selection of cool and unique looking heroes instead.

Depends on the taste, but we have quite the unique roaster already, and its not like its 90% waifus. Not to mention we know nothing about Space ranger other than she is from Mars, a support and mobility based. Most of the recent character who came out are not my cup of tea in terms of design and gameplay.
Anime girls can be quite unique. They come in all shapes, sizes, and hairstyles.
Oh, sorry, I assumed that you saw the concept art for SR. That’s what I’m talking about really, and it seems very uninspired to me.
Gameplay wise, though, who knows. There’s only vague stuff like her having vertical mobility. She also had an SMG but now she doesn’t. Who knows what the final kit will actually be.
