I think this is a fair argument and with how much change is happening I am scared but I think ow2 can survive for a few months with bad balance
so if they focus on the tank reworks and removal of cc and then work on balance during the beta of the game or a soft launch then I think we will be fine
because there is so much pve being added to ow2 that can sustain its own audience
Cyberpunk was also a new IP with new mechanics from the ground up.
Overwatch 2 is a sequel; an iteration of an already released game with derived mechanics. Its far less likely to mess up.

I loved the last Dragon Age! I can’t believe it’s been 9 years, that’s actual abuse!

Overwatch is already a buggy mess.
It’s not like Cyberpunk. Cyberpunk was from FromSoftware, standards were much higher.
though they did had a lot of time cuz they showed gameplay during late 2019 , so 2.5 years for a game whose base already exsists and is mostly new maps and heroes with engine upgrade seems to be reasonable and they could always put half story part of PvE during launch and remaining with the coming months.
So there is just no way it will be like cyberpunk , the worst that could happen is that new heroes release broken and some bugs exists which both can be fixed.

Pretty much damned if you do or damned if you don’t.
Overwatch 1 still has bug patches on like monthly base, so it wouldn’t surprise me TBH

Who said that? The same guy that said the game will be launched in 2023?
Who are those “sources”?
I don’t get why people are so obsessed with knowing the future, but you are, and some smart guys are getting rich because of you.
One thing is for sure, it will launch, sometime.
I would not say that’s for sure. I think the odds are in favor of it being released, but nothing is guaranteed.
Cant they just buy more time before releasing 1 or 2 more heroes?
