This is actually super interesting. Not certain what can be pulled from this given the relatively small sample size (in relation to the number of people who play the game,) but really cool to see the forum’s general ideas over balance without having to read through walls of text.

MagyTheMage kind of explained it, she is balanced by the majority, but many people think Ana is overtuned and it is also reasonable. Moira is a great burst healer but lacks utility in higher level play, Ana brings both to the table and one can say the most valuable ult in terms of versatility. Rez compared to that is not as valuable and consistent, not saying it is a bad ability which its not, but Mercy is too team dependent and low on even single target heals otherwise, which is bad for a game full with heavy burst damage.
Btw not a Mercy main, but I can see why the majority thinks Mercy is underpowered.

Ok whoever marked genji as being overtuned or “OVERPOWERED” Step right out. Same as the people that voted for bastion being “balnced” when he is the worst hero in the game. I just wanna talk.

According to this doom needs a lot harsher nerfs. Imo the problem is rocket punch now. It has allways been the fact that its an excape, mobility and one shot on a 4 sec cd ill never understand.
Time to take head shots off (SA) fan the bow on hanzo as well. Or do some type fall off dmg on all his arrows.
You might want to look in this thread, or this to understand why many think he is overtuned.
The majority still thinks he is balanced btw, as with many other heroes who are considered overtuned by a faction but the majority saing they are balanced.

More people find Brigitte balanced than Genji. You’re in the minority if you think it’s the other way around.
Genji has always been overtuned and he needs a nerf. It’s just the truth.

So any evidence or aguments or what? If high pickrate meant the hero was overtuned rein should be gutted.
Its not the same situation. You are forgetting that we have 15 dps in game, and only 7 tanks. There is not much alternative to Rein on certain roles, he is played most as classic tank, it’s also a lot like D.va who also enjoys high pickrates, due to being good in her own role but with not much alternative (apart from Hammond, but he is still learned by the community). It is natural those pickrates are higher, and not the fault of the hero being balanced (and the community voted tanks mostly all balanced), but less number of alternative available to choose from.
Mathematically, the pickrate indicating pickrates on the dps side is dependent on the number of characters available, which more than doubles the number of tanks or supports. It would be different if we would have 15 tanks, which is not the case.
