Today is the two year anniversary of Overwatch 2!
So here’s a little review!
Gameplay: very good 9.5 out of 10
Content: maps heroes and skins excellent 10 out of 10
Graphics: Excellent 10 out of 10 but needs ray tracing and frame generation
Accessibility: 8 out of 10 (no mouse and keyboard support for console no Mac support)
Overall: 9.5 out of 10!
Do you work ign or something mainstream like that?
From that points alone is solid, yes. But monetarisation is around a 5/10 (yes, middle of the road) and the baance is also just a 6/10 (feels random at times).
But OW is a good game, no matter what people say here.
I guess Blizzard does look at the forums, here we have an employee advertising the game!

That score seems a little bit low. I would give it at least a 9.6 out of 10.
overwatch will always be my favorite competitive game but i do miss the open queue days and launch days of overwatch 1. still no matter how much it has changed i can never get around to just quitting. guess i dont know how to do anything else or play another shooter

Ray tracing would only serve to make the game’s performance even worse without adding a whole lot of visual fidelity and frame generation would just make the game unplayable whenever you move your camera, making it so you can’t see through the AI slop across your screen.
These things are definitely not “needed”
OW1 is still better, OW2 is regressive.
Seems like someone needs to touch grass. Not sure what modes you play, but there seems to be a massive amount of players who would have negative numbers in all categories.

With enough noise maybe the Dev’s will actually listen to the players for once.
over my long years i have met 100’s of gamers IRL… while i know people like this exist, not 1 of the people i have met would give OW2 above a 6/10
this has to be satire or something, like twitter, were 5 people feel like 10k, but in reality its only 5 people
The OP was selective in what they scored. For gameplay it could mean how the heroes play, which is excellent.
But you could add
matchmaking : 2/10
match quality : 3/10
fun heroes: 6/10
fun game modes: 5/10
and so on.
We need a less facetious ThinnBuddha in our midst to counterbalance all this exuberance, imo.
2 Year Report on Overwatch 2.
The only game mode I enjoy anymore is Total Mayhem, where it’s still open season on how many tanks/healers/dps you can have, and they’re all OP as heck. At least that game mode came from OW1 and is still fun.
