Game has been broken since the day it was realeased.
Explain to me how i have 62% + winrate and 4.7 KDA and i get deranked from plat 5 to gold 1?

How many games did you win/lose in your last placement matches?
I have no clue, i get one sided games 90% of the time agaisnt me. But everygame i winand even the ones i lose i am always massively positive.

If it makes you feel better I won 6 placement games in a row on DPS, have a 70% winrate, quite literally carried most of them and placed Silver 4.
Since then however I have climbed to Gold 1 in pretty big jumps after the game realised how stupid it was. I am a diamond player fyi and honestly I have no idea how I got placed so low. But I’m having fun destroying silver players

You’ll struggle, i am diamond too and gold 1 plat 5 is easy as cake yet im being demoted with positive everything
if you had a couple close games just before deranking, it probably came down to your personal stats. You’ll get that platinum 5 right back. I promise. Just drink a red bull or do whatever else (lol if you know what I mean) it takes.

I feel you. I went 7-5 and it deranked me from Gold 2 to Gold 4.
my stats are massively above the rank im at though. I usally get 30+ kills and 1-4 deaths.

yeah this ranked system is really bad blizzard needs to revert back to the previous system or this game will die

Overwatch ranking system are so trash they cant even fix it even its already 11 seasons. Fix it. This game won’t get any better nor it won’t help with anyone progression. Especially for people who wants to support the game, but the game will lose alot of support.

Don’t worry, Gavin the Ranked System guy will make sure it will continue to suck until Overwatch goes full Team Fortress 2 mode where spinbots are 90 percent of the player population.

nah, this is casino manipulation. for 8 years in a row.
I can go on a win streak and win 7 or more games and not move out of my rank, then loose two games and de-rank. The game literally gives me 2-14% for winning and it takes 20-40% every time I loose. How is this fair?
Because your rank is a lot higher than your MMR.
It’s “fair” because it treats everyone the same. As per the definition of the word.

if for example everyone in a given group were equally subject to a daily regimen of severe punishments after doing nothing to deserve said punishments, that would be equal but not remotely fair
“impartial and just, without favouritism or discrimination” ie treated the same.
