The more players they lose the more obvious the matchmaker is broken, they used to be able to hide it so only high IQ’s could see it but now it’s become blatant to eve the general population or slightly above average iq’s.
The only way low iq’s can believe it is if the company makes an official statement admitting it.
This would be fine if they were losing significant numbers. Nothing out there even suggest any real movement outside of expected seasonal peaks and troughs.

There was a period a few weeks ago where i went on like a 15 game loss streak and ended up in high gold. First time for me. And as much as i want to believe that loss streak was within my control and i just needed to adapt, most of those games had at least one dps that went -7 or worse. Not sure what happened there, but it was super weird.
Then things started to even out and i started to hard stomp everything. Now im back at high plat, soon diamond likely. I was accused of smurfing the whole way, but i really wasnt trying to. I wonder how many others might have gotten hit by the same issue.
Recently i hopped on a friends gold account to prove you just need to play well to get out of low gold. Hard stomped all game while reading work emails and eating my breakfast at the same time. You can influence your games to a huge degree, particularly in lower ranks, but you have to learn to make good decisions. Aim is way less important even, i wasnt even playing my best and i was stomping.
