People will still need a Bnet Account.
With the implementation to Steam come some Achievements, that’s pretty much it.
Edit: That was not what i meant, forum.
That just mean “Our game is losing playerbase very fast and Steam is our only hope”
5 or 6 years of OW1 in Battlenet and they never tried to launch the game on Steam.

Blizzard really want to do this will have a ball park of user demographics when playing which blizzard likes to hold onto if they are nothing to brag about

Steam shows concurrent player numbers, it will be interesting to see some numbers even if it only relates to the Steam platform.

This will make it SOOOOO much easier to download on my Steam Deck AND it will run much more smoothly cos I won’t be using some non-steam program runners in desktop mode. fistpump
