If you arent going with a traditional sequel, dont name it “gamename #2. Its lazy and means something it doesnt. A name such as Overwatch:Global Offensive (or something similar. Honestly a name involving the word “rising” again would be better than “2”). 2 should be a working title, not final

having an engine overhaul with graphic updates is more like a remake or a remaster, an expansion would just mean “more content”, but the base game getting an engine overhaul (which could mean new tech they can utilize for us to play with, or make things smoother on their part, which still translates to it being better for us) makes it a little bigger than an expansion, depending on just what exactly they’re doing with it
don’t the pve events take place in the future of what we’re playing right now?

At least we’re not in the early 2000’s where the common trend was to insert the number nonsensically in the middle of the title. Otherwise we’d be seeing Overwa2ch, or 2verwatch. (See Driv3r for this kind of stupid naming…)
