Your grievances about game direction and broken promises don’t change that. Objectively, OW2 is a good game. It’s like a more polished Paladins.

People are just mad at the game not being the way they want, so they’re review bombing in protest.
I DO THE EXACT SAME THING.
But stop lying to yourself. Stop trying to justify it. Grow a spine. You’re abusing a system to bash something you don’t like. Own it. Don’t make excuses “but I can review it like this because blahblah and because I value game direction blahblah.” No. You’re not reviewing the game as a whole. You’re just leaving your opinion about what happened. Own it. Stop being intellectually dishonest. For your own sake. Healthier in the long run.
EDIT: Your opinion is not invalidated because of how you express it. Just own it. “Yeah, I review bombed them, but that doesn’t change that they deserved it.” Own it.
Single players games are not even comparable dude. I never spend more than 120 hours at max (with custom endgame) on single player games. Online PvE or PvP games? Thousand of hours without any problem.
Single player players should stay there. In single player games.
Of cause its a good game, but people think its a weakness to see positive and negative things. You are pushed to see everything black or white while ignore all the shades of gray that exists.
But in the end: OW gameplay is something you will not find anywhere. All its competitors have failed and OW is the only game of its kind. TF2 was an inspiration of the game, but they play differently and FEEL differently.
Currently there is no way of getting a civil discussion going. Let them mald of OW and feel good to review bomb the game. Give it time. Blizz made a lot of problems, but the gameplay for example is not the problem.
The pain of the PvE was never really expressed and now they have a medium to do it. It will get cleaned up in time, but until S7, I would say: ignore steam and just enjoy the game.
Normally I’d agree. But this isn’t review bombing to me. They put out some very lackluster PvE. So any bad reviews they get are warranted. The PvE is actually worst then old archives.

This game is just not good, I have played a lot of multiplayer games and this game is boring. I like singleplayer games because usually they arent boring, simple as that
Then next time they shouldn’t make guarantees they couldn’t deliver. Simple. And then Release the half the effort version. Outside of cinematic it’s not good. Which deserves bad reviews.
